East Burke played a complete game that night!!
I don’t know who that is. Guessing he’s a super star for Draughn. Hadn’t seen a Draughn game yet. That night they had that crazy close “feud “ game I was at a church in Marion listening to Joe Aurthur. If You ain’t heard him preach your missing out. I’ll be seeing Draughn in the playoffs and so will a lot of the EB crowd cheering them on. Baby cousin is a Draughn cheerleader. By then I’ll know who this player is your talking bout
Yes we will. Not a chance if we had a healthy Levi Coble and Luke Wilson. 2 difference makers right there and Buff is a good RB and he’s also done. We might pull this off, be close
A group of us were talking on field after game a couple weeks ago. And rahiem made the statement that he is all in on football now. And wants it to be the sport he gets to the next level in. This was right after the game he started clicking in. I think he's really filled with confidence now.

For this last game at EB it’s gonna be a great half time show. Darlene and the Trump Truckers will be singing a cover song and one more they wrote, I think it’s called Keep your Dogs Loose. Patriot song I believe. Darlene is good, she just hadn’t got a gig yet at Waynos but they working on it. She can sing the whole time with a cigarette hanging out the side of her mouth.

Maiden at Newton-Conover: Last week was the first time I've seen Maiden play. I heard things to the contrary about this year's edition of the Blue Devils not being quite as good as last year's, but I'm of the impression they're even better. Maiden by 21
West Lincoln at Lincolnton: With the exception of West Caldwell, I've seen every CVAC team play, this year. I believe The Rebels are the most physical squad in this conference. Could be a good game but if we cannot stop M. Avery, we've had it. The Wolves will have to play with all they got. Sorry I have to miss this game. Lincolnton by 1

LHSfaninVA, you must of lived north of town and a little East. I’m guessing from the numbers Buffalo Shoals Rd. Or one of those developments near it.
MC, the team would eat there and at the city lunch.
Now, LHSfaninVA probably goes across the river to DC restaurants, maybe to Crazy Aunt Helen’s or Bad Saint or To get coffee and a pastry at Georgetown cupcakes where the wait is an hour and a half and it costs more than a Harley Davidson.
I usually don't venture outside a 3 mile radius for food. I have gone to Georgetown Cupcakes twice. Once for a friend on a Saturday (never again) and the other time I went as soon as they opened. No line. I was in and out. I also must admit I have ordered from them twice as they deliver. One time for a birthday party and the other time to take with me to Mount Airy. The cupcakes are good, but I am still an Ole King Cole bakery type of guy.
Years ago I went to one of Jose Andres restaurants with a group of guys. Apparently none of knew what a tapas was because we each ordered one plate for ourselves and thought we were getting the steal of the century at those prices. Well, we quickly learned that tapas are small plates and are to be shared.

AMD, according to MaxPreps, Newton-Conover defeated Maiden 28-14, Bandys over Bunker Hill 50-6, and West Lincoln was beating us 8-0 after 1st quarter but they stopped reporting.
EB 34 West Caldwell 22 Jv team is like varsity should have had at least 5 wins one day it will all turn around!!

Yeah...no telling what it might be. They say, "kids are going to be kids...unpredictable 16-18 year olds", but we all know that getting kicked off of a high school football team, Shelby even more so, takes more effort than "just being a kid", the mistake would have to be serious I would believe.
That being said...they do not deserve to have their dirty laundry aired out. I'll respect that....I would like to know how many though and if they were starters or not.
