You know, the one time I saw Burns drop the bomb after a game it wasn't just a few kids doing something "classless"... It was led by the coach, included the team, and at least a third of the Burns fans came out of the stands onto the field and participated. And the ones who didn't come onto the field were in the stands cheering them on.

I have already heard from the people on the sidelines that this is exactly what was happening. I developed no theory, just talked to people today and waited until I got confirmation from many people....but I guess all you can do at this point is deny, call people ignorant, and hope it gets swept under the rug quickly.

That's my point. No cheating at all. Just a kid completely embarrassed on senior night. I have to watch games online so I knew nothing of it happening but it did not take much today to find out considering it's all over the Internet. Move on. Crest played great and won.

I respect that. Not the kids fault in any way. I wish the player all the success in the world. He's played a great season and I hope it continues. It is a terrible situation for the young man to be in. The father is supposed to lead by example and he let this young man down, but we all make mistakes and I wish them the best....If you want to delete everyone's comments in this thread about this that is fine. Who said I hated Crest I am a Crest grad have been to about 90% of the crest games since I was in middle school!

You practically gave up on them but once they beat our scrub bottom of the barrel Cleveland County asses you talk like they are relevant again. Now that is comical. I wouldn't necessarily call this an up year. We consistently lose to Shelby and Crest. Nothing new there. If someone told me at the beginning of the year that we were going to only lose to Shelby and Crest in the regular season, I would have called them crazy. We still aren't on Shelby or Crest level but I'm happy we're at least back in the playoffs and are at least slightly relevant.
