2A Clinton vs Northside-Jacksonville 4th round(Girls & Boys)

"We gotta stop meeting like this".....A unique situation as both Clinton boys and girls take on Northside-Jax in the 4th round.....Clinton girls 27-2(14-0) host Northside-Jax 24-5(8-2) Tuesday this will be the 2nd meeting between the two back on December 1 the Monarchs beat Clinton 70-59....So here we go again this should be a triller Kayla Stephens vs Mikayla Boykin....I think its a good thing SWE kinda pusher Clinton last night.....NS-Jax jumped all over North Brunswick leading one time 50-16....As always the trio of Boykin,Cannady, and Williams will need to come up big but this is also one of those game where the role players have to contribute

Now going to the boys side Clinton 27-2(14-0) travels to Northside-Jax 27-0(10-0) like the girls these two met in Clinton back on December 1 which resulted in a NS Jax win 70-62.....looking at NS Jaxs schedule it was the closest game they played to date.....of course the first meeting Clinton was missing some football players but so was NSJAX......normally Clinton can out athlete alot of the teams we have played that wont happen Tuesday NS Jax has the athletes to match up with us and vice versa.....this will be a competitive game but Clinton will have to shoot the ball alot better from the start last two games kinda came out cold scoring.....defense defense defense will be key aswell.....think Jeremiah Pope will have to have one of those signature performances along with Lesane

I talked about this a couple days ago but how cool would it be for Clinton to return the favor from football and the similarities going into this game is unreal.....Football Clinton was undefeated,#2 ranked team in the state,had beat NS-Jax earlier in the season,and the rematch took place in the semifinal round of the playoffs.........Now here we are in Basketball NS-Jax is undefeated,#2 ranked team in the state,beat Clinton earlier in the season,and Tuesday is a semifinal round of the playoffs.............They say revenge is a dish beat served cold.....well it may be alil chilly Tuesday evening lol......talk about motivation though especially for guys like Kris Williams,Tyion Wright,Mike Kramer,Prentice Murphy Ryheem Skinner,Hampton Brock who were on that football field and saw their season come to a end

Was also told that gates open at NS Jax for the boys game at 6. Tomorrow, a small gym and they had to turn people away for there last game so any Clinton people planning to go, need to get there early.

Situations like this with both teams playing each other....it would be nice to find a nice big neutral gym so both fanbases could see it.

Well the gym Clinton was using would've worked but we are not the home team. U can get 1200+ in that gym.

I don't know for sure, but another post states that the floor at the high school gym is now finished, so the girls game will be played there. At least it gives fans the opportunity to go see both games!

Clinton will win the Regional by 25. Bertie's leading scorer who averages almost 20 points a game hasn't played since the 1st qtr. of game one in the playoffs due to an acl tear. We lost in the 4th qtr to BYancey. This will be a blow out.
