Well we have 2 weeks to prepare for Goldsboro...definitely going to keep my eye on the JK/Goldsboro game tomorrow evening.....not saying im worried but Goldsboro is a team i been keeping my eye on and they do seemed to be much improved from a season ago and they have some athletes that can present some problems for us.....if we go up there and sleepwalk we could be leaving upset

You guys did a good job. Clear and informative broadcast. Not a lot of side talk, just football.

Of course Im partial to Billy and Melvin on the SWO broadcast. They really get excited and with tons of stats about the teams. But they been doing Stallion football a lot of years. You did good and the delay was no big deal. Just thought My connection wasnt right.

Congrats to the Horses on a BIG win. Would tune in again if SWO wasnt playing.

Thanks for the feedback. This is my 14th year and my partners 18th so it isn’t our first rodeo but we also film so stats kind of take a hit. Do my best to run our ads, keep track of times played, highlight impact plays, and call the game. Wish we had it in the budget to have a full stat guy/girl. Billy and Melvin are good guys, met them several times. Our setup is similar but we do video with audio although the recording is played back another day on local access channel. Thanks for tuning in. Good luck to your stallions, would love to see the stallions in the playoffs or maybe not......

Anyone know who #23 is? Was it a JV guy? whole sideline was super pumped up when he got that Int late in the game just curious...and who was it that stripped the ball and ran it back for TD was that the same guy couldnt see the number from where i was at......definitely some good reps for some younger guys tonight

Freshman and sophomore making plays good deal....Westerbeek during the JV games have impressed me he will be a huge contributor now and in the future....Blake Smith is a great athlete i know it was alot of rumors and hype bout him during the summer definitely has a high ceiling just a good all around football player can play all the skill positions looking forward to seeing him more

Yes just a rumor cause at the time didnt know if Evans who played RB/FB was going to switch positions and didnt know Kaba could play QB aswell if needed so it was some rumors and hype about him.....he is a very good athlete tho wouldnt be surprised to see him moved up permanently come playoff time he plays all the skill positions on offense for the JV returns punts/KOs and safety on defense......heard he is a really really good baseball player aswell

I’ve been watching Westerbeek and Smith play. In my opinion they’re the best two players on the jv. They both have great athletic ability but they both have a quality you can’t coach.....savvy..... You either got savvy or you don’t and not many players do but they’ve got it. It was good to see them get some reps in a varsity game since there is no jv game makeup.

#23 was Blake Smith, but I can't remember who stripped the ball.

The boys played great! With the exception of the penalties(which is understandable since they haven't played in a month), the Horses played like a well-oiled machine. Jalen Smith being back in the lineup was definitely a difference maker, softening up the middle to open up that Jet Sweep. Also Knowlydge Evans was in beast mode, scoring 4 td's in the 1st half. Again, great overall performance, 1-0 for the week. After another bye week, it's on to Goldsboro for what figures to be a smashmouth bout with a team that is quickly becoming another rival.

Attended the game last night the out come was what I figured but was really impressed with midway no way were they going to run against that defense but that qb took a lot of licks and just missed a couple of times of connecting with number 2 I think for what would have been touchdowns but Clinton look really fast last night especially 9 would really love to see some option or sweeps but it seems everything is up the middle. Clinton defense I thought was really really good and the got plenty of speed on on offense but good passing team I think there in trouble

Good news for Clinton is they won’t run into a great passing team till late playoffs or even championship IF they are even lucky to make it that far. That’s just about one thing you can count on in this part of the state, teams are gonna run the football first, 2nd, 3rd, and pass when/if needed. Won’t see a team that will throw it over 15x/game till later. So hopefully we won’t get in to much trouble with the pass.

Yeah its rough to get someone last minute wish one of the county schools had the same bye week it be easier to work
