Yes we have one starter goes both ways number 21(Cherry) our running back will line up as lb or salfty when things get tough. he played both ways during the reidsville game, Also number 16 (Brown) goes both ways when there are a lot of passing going on.So HPA does not have anyone going both ways???.....Like RWTW mentioned above Clinton has a handful of key guys playing both sides of the ball....Going to have to dig deep especially if its close in the 4th
Yea man I been using it I used it while sitting in the stands works great....ilk be nice and warm on the couch listening to Dark Horse football this Friday NightThats cool man, Hey if you haven't tried mixlr yet to listen to the broadcast I suggest that. I hear the quality is leaps and bounds better than the standard oldies1170 website. I'll post the link Friday.
You can listen to it on your phone or ipad or mac or PC its universal.
Clinton in a tight one. Hear is my thinking Clinton has been preparing for a state title game in 2a not 2aa. Once they were placed 2aa everyone just forgot that this is the creme of the crop in 2a. Andrews has been winning and I give credit, but Clinton is a State champion caliber team. R. Skinner is an "elite" RB. B. Lewis is a HOF coach....
Tootall4yall, I'm not taking up for him but I think you may have taken part of his post incorrectly, granted he's pulling for his team but on the preparation part I think what he mean or what we're aware, this is the first time Clinton has played in the 2AA classification. Since the split divisions Clinton has always played in the 2A classification. All of their success/championships have been in 2A as Clinton has always played 2A since moving from 3A in 1985. We didn't know until the ADE's came out a few weeks ago that the DarkHorses were probably going to be 2AA.. Clinton has always been about in the middle of the 2A classification in the many years prior, but we've been told that Clinton's freshman class is 100 students larger than last year's class and I've been told the 8th grade class is even larger, so it was somewhat of a surprise to a lot of us that Clinton would be playing 2AA. With Clinton's playoff history everyone is pretty much aware of the teams in that 2A part of the classification because generally its the same teams year after year. That being the preparation, with Andrews and Clinton having no history of playing one another the preparation is different. In this 3rd round Andrews will be the 3rd team in which Clinton's never faced before. That's kind of unusual but I welcome it! Everyone down here is well aware of TW Andrews playoff/championship legacy and have much respect for it. If you read our local newspaper today about HPA you would think the DarkHorses don't have much chance, but to the knowlegable, we know differently. I think its going to be a excellent game and I'm encouraged to hear they've made improvement to the field conditions. Lets just hope mother nature continues to cooperate. Looking forward to it! Good luck! And Andrews has been preparing for what exactly? I understand Clinton and its pedigree but, last I checked, we aren't exactly newcomers to winning. Unless I'm mistaken, Andrews is the only school that's won a state title in 4A (twice), 3A, and 2A. Clinton only has one more state title than we do. We are almost always in the hunt for a championship regardless of the classification the state places us in, so I would say we are a "state championship caliber team" as well.
UNC=Coastal Division Champions!I played football at Duke. HarryT was confusing Distance and me. For the record, if the tarholes were playing the ISIS-Al Queida All-Stars I still wouldn't pull for those wearing that sissy shade of blue!

Hey GoNtheDistance I was referring to the article Know Thy Opponent in today's Sampson Independent. As far as the prediction that newspaper has 6 high schools to cover and keep happy! What would you expect. Among the fans I know, most say it's a pick'em toss up. Both teams quality teams, quality program history, quality coaches and a quality following. I'm looking forward to it!!!! Any high school football fan whose teams isn't playing and travel isn't a problem might should take in this game. I've looked over the 32 matchups among all classifications Friday night and this matchup stands out as one of the best.Wiz, that article was very complimentary of the raiders but in the end they predicted a 21-18 dark horse win.
Hopefully we can keep it close. Clinton will be the best team we've played all year.
