Different situation. Also the people who convinced Dakota Smith and his mom to move him to Crest cost this kid big time. This young man was 365’d because he never moved and got caught. Shameful on those that told him this was the move.

Don’t get on here too much but I see that Crest must be poised to make a deep run(or they think they can), KM has potential but in 6A it’ll be tough, Shelby has a cake walk to a ring each year, and Burns might be a year away.
Crest that deep? Is it all the transfers that give them that depth?
I saw a secondary that was supposed to be the best ever get torched in the playoffs. I understand you have a transfer qb that everyone drools over. Receivers are probably pretty good. Any transfers I miss?
KM seems to be screwed by being in 6A.
Shelby always has talent and speed. Playing in 3A will be a breeze.

Good numbers at Burns yesterday but unfortunately they are having to use the game field for spring ball. Some grown adult thought he would spend spring break doing donuts on the practice field. Ruined it. My first thought was SL trying to finally get his name written down in cursive for once.

It is for sure. My first question was if it had to do with a senior prank and I was told a grown ass man did it. Dug trenches in it but keep in mind it was also wet out there. They were already in the process of trying to get some grading done on it because it never drained right but now it's a total loss. They were down there getting after it either way though.

Read today where it is being considered that top 8A teams will have two bye weeks before playoffs , to line up timing so all championship games will be played same weekend.

Kings Mountain boys track wins Big South Conference Championship. Kings Mountain and Ashbrook dominated the meet overall. I will say that South Point has some serious speed in Belmont and their 4x100 relay team are the real deal. SP’s 4x100 took first place and the whole relay team is football players. SP’s Kham Crawford blew the field away in the 100m final with a time of 10.7. Crest was expected to contend for the title but relay team was dq’ for a false start.
I know this a football thread but chiming in to say a shoutout to Shelby’s girl soccer. They currently are 18-0 at this point. Last year I believe they went 4-11-3. Best of luck to this team rest of the season.
