No way Shelby is really playing somebody called "community school of Davidson" in the 3rd round of the playoffs? Y'all have to feel a little bad about this, right?

Crest just got through playing Oak Grove for goodness sakes. The Davidson school is new but no not a traditional power.

Well, that’s good, and Crest had some great players, but…..

This season, the high school football program that put Crest, Burns, and Kings Mountain on the map is……still alive.
And while y’all defeat us from time to time, Shelby keeps winning.
As we said before, Shelby football gives you the platform to start and endure with a thread titled “ Cleveland County”. To your, credit, you have acknowledge as much.
We doubt you will allow this thread to end, even with Crest’s elimination. And you shouldn’t.
Carry it on into next season. It’s a great forum for those of us fortunate to be high school football fans in this area.
Rest assured, we will always be here to remind you that the remarkable sustained success began with the Golden Lions, remained with the Golden Lions, and, as again this year, usually ends with the Golden Lions.
