This RPI is so stupid, what is the point of playing the gameCrest RPI is still higher.
I thought the 2 seeds were seeded before everyone else but finishing second only guarantees you a playoff spot. The thing that is impacting Crest/KM RPI's are Catholic and Cox Mill. This RPI is so stupid, what is the point of playing the game
So last nights game didn’t matter, that is so stupid. This is like last year when Crest won conference and they had to play that gauntlet of a schedule in the playoffsI thought the 2 seeds were seeded before everyone else but finishing second only guarantees you a playoff spot. Next weeks game could flip them. Huss has a higher RPI than Stuart Cramer and that will be factored in. Assuming both win.So last nights game didn’t matter, that is so stupid. This is like last year when Crest won conference and they had to play that gauntlet of a schedule in the playoffs
KM plays North Gaston. South Point plays Huss.Next weeks game could flip them. Huss has a higher RPI than Stuart Cramer and that will be factored in. Assuming both win.
You are correct. NG RPI is higher (11spots higher/0.05) than Stuart Cramer but not sure if it's high enough to close the gap.KM plays North Gaston. South Point plays Huss.
I'm wondering if it could cause somebody to leap both teams. Def think Crest playing Cramer will drop them out of overall 1 but not sure how far.You are correct. NG RPI is higher (11spots higher/0.05) than Stuart Cramer but not sure if it's high enough to close the gap.
Anything is possible when u dealing with numbers that look like this.lol 0.00000I'm wondering if it could cause somebody to leap both teams. Def think Crest playing Cramer will drop them out of overall 1 but not sure how far.
Stop overreacting. This will adjust some more after last’s night game and after the last games. How does this work, we beat Crest and they are seeded higher then us in the brackets.
Have been updated with last nights game. KM went from 14 to 8. Crest stayed 1.Stop overreacting. This will adjust some more after last’s night game and after the last games.
The biggest thing for the teams who have only played 9 games versus 10 is the win percentage factor. A 7-2 team win percentage will be 77.7% versus finishing 8-2 with a 80% win percentage. Those 2.3 points are huge.Have been updated with last nights game. KM went from 14 to 8. Crest stayed 1.
I just wished we could’ve had a game or two under our belt prior to the Shelby game. We returned three starters on defense and three on offense from last year so our kids were learning on the fly that game. Shelby was also the perfect opponent to show where we needed to improve or change. The kid that intercepted the pass against Crest is a sophomore who was lost at times in that first game. One of the kids who got beat for a td against Shelby is a sophomore who is tied for team leads in interceptions now. We had five sophomores and one freshman in the defensive rotation against Crest. We still line up wrong from time to time as we did on two of Crest’s td’s, but these kids learn from their mistakes and come back for more. The continued development of this team is the reason that we are a totally different team from game 1 and I predicted that we would be playing our best ball in November. We still have room for improvement and that’s a good thing for this KM team.Cleveland County was very competitive this year against one another wasn't it fellas?
Shelby beat KM and Burns
KM beat Crest and Burns
Crest beat Burns and Shelby
Burns beat Diet Cherryville and Equate Tech but was in all CC games cept KM
Fun season this year to see all the local battles.... Lots of good kids in this county with rabid fans....Thats what makes our county so special to me
Bro, we had to use a DL for QB and competed in 2 out of 3 games. I am taking that as a win in itself. If we can balance things more in the playoffs we can increase our chances past round 1 or 2 but that's tough. Someone brought up a wild stat. 2 of our 3 losses (KM and Shelby) came when our only points scored were from passing. That is crazy considering how we are built this year. All 4 teams have a lot of room for improvement in some fashion. We are all about to be 0-0. Win or pump up the basketballs.I just wished we could’ve had a game or two under our belt prior to the Shelby game. Zero (0) doubt in my mind who I’d go with.Has Crest picked a QB yet? Or are they still playing footsie?
Sub Zero among other changes …Has Crest picked a QB yet? Or are they still playing footsie?
