At times, in the Huss game, Aiden was the only SR on the field on offense.
#99, #9,#1, and #5 are seniors on defense
99 has been playing fantastic. I watch him closely and often times he is jacking the player in front of him up off their feet. And he's having a lot of fun.
I want all the smoke.
#99 is having a really good season. Very active in the center of that defense.

What about the story line with the coaches? Seems like a lot of folks don’t want to discuss that. I ain’t a lot of folks.
Lloyd facing the program he controlled for years. Think about that book. Went to Crest played for Crest ended up coaching KM. Turned the Crest job down and at least 2 State Championships down one time.
KM basically sent him packing and when down South for Herron. I ain’t hating on KM. They want what we want. RINGS!!
Lloyd is heading to RS Central to be closer to home and he gets the call. Otis done wrecked us and Lloyd ends up coaching where he started and that’s at 6 TIME.
Now he’s on the dark side with us and he’s got himself a SQUAD! Plus, he’s facing the program that kicked him to the curb and the man they replaced him with. 🔥🔥🔥
Then you got Strait Herron. He’s like David Bowie said. UNDER PRESSURE! He’s got to be.
This game is going to be NASTY. A lot of moving parts to this one.

I am going to be honest. A crazy storyline would be if Lloyd won a state title in his first year back at Crest which is possible in my opinion. We would never live that down to in KM. The jokes would be insane at our expense of course lol. Make no mistake, both of the coaches really want to win this game. You are right there are going to be a lot of really good players on the field for both teams. Coach Herron gave Crest their props, he said your Chargers have really good players at every single position on defense. That’s the first time I’ve heard him say that about any team.
Good coaches know what they see SD. I ain’t hating on your coach man. He done great things down in SC. KM is doing what they think that have to do to get where they want to go. RESPECT!
I hope this game lives up to what it should be. KM has a lot of good players too.

Yeah don’t get it twisted, both fanbases will be pretty rabid in the hours leading up to kickoff. We want nothing more than to knock the ‘C’ off those helmets! I think the limited trash talk right now is a grudging respect after watching video and seeing that your opponent got a bunch of dawgs with them also. Last year I thought that Crest peaked a little early in my opinion, this year Crest seems to be getting better and better late in the season which is what you want. Plus it’s hard to bag on Coach Lloyd because we have so much respect for him. We definitely will like to give him a ‘L’ to take back to the Crest Horseshoe Club meeting. I am excited for the matchup. I met a Shelby guy this week and he was talking about how good the KM jv qb was(freshman). He went to 2 KM jv games to just watch him. We will see how he hits the weights going into his sophomore year.
He has the potential to be a really good player and also has a group of wide receivers with him that project to be really good. He is a three sport athlete who excels in all three sports and is competitive. He definitely needs to hit that weight room hard because at this time he so slim that he can hula hoop with a Cheerio lol

Kings Mountain jv’s defeat Crest jv’s tonight 23-20 to win the conference. The baby Mountaineers had to fight tonight for that win. The KM jv team was mostly comprised of freshmen due to many sophomores playing varsity. Some of those KM freshmen are eight quarter kids who will have an opportunity to contribute in the playoffs this season. I can’t wait to see their continued process.
a friend of mine gridironcc on X, went tonight to the Crest/KM game and called me as the teams were warming up, talking highly of the KM QB and his arm strength and beautiful long passes....He said "this kid has an absolute cannon for an arm and a beautiful long ball and accurate for his age...
