I am afraid of that was well, I hope we can hold on to him.
They have been knocking the past two years. Right now he and his family seem pretty content with his progress at KM. He plays travel ball for a Nike sponsored travel team. The shoe brands can definitely influence a kid moving to a big time private they are affiliated with as a kid’s basketball reputation and offer list expands.
Speaking of basketball I am not understanding the move of King Rhodes from Crest to Charlotte Catholic for basketball. King Rhodes had the makings of a power 5 recruit at safety if he would have stuck with football. It definitely shows that Catholic can somehow bypass those “stringent” transfer requirements for the right athletes lol.
Most Crest folks don’t understand either but we are not surprised. This will be his 3rd high school in 3 years.. He likes football but loves basketball! He could be a special football player but that’s not the sport he seems to love as much
Sometimes you have to concentrate on what your heart is in to. Close relative of mine is currently playing on a full ride on their 3rd best sport, but her favorite. Will Keith be coaching there?
No Keith will not be coaching there. I don’t think he agreed with the move but his son wanted it. Ex- Kings Mountain Mountaineer great Jerry Jordan is on staff at Catholic. He also coaches that Charlotte Royals team that all those incoming freshmen play travel ball with. King should be able to play his more natural basketball position with what Catholic has returning.

Thought King would be a tremendous TE in Greg’s offense. Was looking forward to him playing but the portal strikes again. He could be a fantastic TE and get some offers IMO
Coach Lloyd thought he definitely would have been offered early at safety with his size, speed, and skill set.

A year ago we couldn't shut you up with with a potted meat sandwich and a bag of pork rinds but this year yall sure are quiet so far? Whats wrong over there??
Three Qb's and aint a one could hit a bull in the hind end with a hand full of peas from three feet is the word over there in the rich neighborhood beside Springmore....Man yall had a legit shot last year but there aint no greens,addisons, taters or edwards roaming that practice field anymore.... Poor Greg thought he was inheriting a 78 Camaro with tee tops but instead got a Studebaker with duct tape and bondo shaped to resemble a Camaro.
Shelby by 35 this year and if sausage pipes up it immediately goes to 45 points... If Rulz shows up 50....If Smash comes back with a good meme Ill drop it to 30... But he used all his up with the "well bye" the other day..
So put down the Wild Irish Rose and tater tot casserole and get this thread back on track Cresties

He must be out of hibernation from Dirty Ankle , don’t worry about us over here , QB competition is good , last I looked ain’t no one getting a title in June for 7/7. 10 weeks till we get going. Funny you bring up Tater , Green, Addison , they leave and you start barking. We have just as much talent in WR area and in fact deeper than past years. Can’t make up for the experience those guys brought tho

Yea me too. Copenhagen, Cheetos and paying off his post game Whopper tab at BK. Rumor has it, even if he hits the big raffle he will still owe BK. That extra X-Tra cheese adds up over time. On a positive note, none of those items will be refurbished. 😂

Graham is man and yesterday they lost to Northwestern in the 7 on 7 after beating Chester before that. Heard good things. Shelby lost to NW the very next game by 1. NW won the whole thing. 7 on 7 doesn't get you a ring as we all know but getting those reps in helps big time on timing and building chemistry. They better spy him at all times. You know exactly what I mean when it comes to his wheels.
All we throw is screens and a deep ball. There isn't much reading going on with our offense. Putting the ball in his hands every play is exciting though. Especially with the read/option plays. He's going to rack up some yards on the ground for sure.
One thing I liked in Crest 7v7 vs Daniel, Polk, and Chambers was throwing to the RB. Aiden Carson was already going to be tough to stop but this adds a whole new element to his game. Crest used a lot of different WR groupings. Defense was extremely fast. Believe they beat Polk and Daniel. Ended tied with Chambers.
Lloyd loves screens and QB sneaks. He knowns how to make em work.
