Crest fans like the kid from Gaffney. Some don’t like that he could leave Gaffney and start at Crest a week or so later.
Lot of folks don’t like that a kid can transfer from one county school to another during the season and still be eligible. It shouldn’t be allowed and I feel someone will approach the school board about getting that changed for next season.

If you were planning on transferring why would you be playing for Gaffney? I dont care one way or the other but that makes no sense.
In 2021, Crest had a kid from Gaffney who transferred in during the season, and was able to play for them.

I’ve always secretly cheered for CHASE because for the most part they represent old school football. Nobody wants to go there. But to be part of a team that could one day beat Shelby…now that’s something to hang your hat on.
