Wow probably the first time I can remember Shelby getting swept in middle school by the whole county..

Yesterday was the first time I saw Burns Middle play. I was very impressed. I don't know if we've ever had that much size. I'm looking forward to watching this group at the high school level the next 4-5 years. Assuming they don't leave for Crest's NIL money. 🤣🤣

Yep Shelby got beat by 2 tds at least by all county teams and had a difficult time blocking anyone..

That's what I saw yesterday. The Shelby QB had no chance. Burns was in the backfield immediately all game long.

The 10th grade group at Burns is my daughters class so I knew what to expect there and the middle school group is my sons class. I have been saying the future is bright in Lawndale if they buy in and work hard. I coached Union when my son was much younger and they had good players then. Upper Cleveland didn't have the athletes as much as they did size. Once again, they have to buy in. Brandon Jackson has done a phenomenal job at BMS and he has a very good core of coaches with him. We will see what happens next week.

Yes I remember how impressed I was with the Kings Mountain varsity's size but after the game I realized sometimes size doesn't matter. Right Rulz?
