I'm willing to bet that every single Cougar fan enjoyed every second of that beatdown. Southwest beat the Comets 40-2. I got there thirty minutes late and the Cougars already held a 20-0 lead. Great crowd, though. The lines at the concessions were way more entertaining than the game itself.
T'was the first time seeing SW. Easton Clapp and Adam Cole put on a show. Those boys sure can scoot. Clapp was outstanding at keeping plays alive. As you can probably guess, outstanding performance from the Cougs on the defensive side of the ball.
Asheboro............just not worth talking about.
I think I spent more time walking to/from the field to the parking lot than I did watching actual football. The SW faithful made darn sure that fans were going to get their exercise.
