AC Reynolds vs Owen

Owen has improved immensely, however they need to find #1 some help, he can’t keep doing it all. They also need to find depth, your linemen were wore out in the second half. Hats off though, Owen battled, but I also think we didn’t play our best, fumbles and missed open receivers, but we clearly were better, having speed advantage is huge in high school. I’m glad Owen is improved and hope they continue to do so because it make WNC football better when they are, too much tradition.
Like I said we have 4 starters coming back. We had 5 total players out so I think the depth will get better but not necessarily linemen. 2 out of the 5 do some line work but we just dont have many linemen. Quality but not quantity
By the way 136 yards recieving and 55 rushing and 4 TDs kinda backs up my theory. You had 1st and goal from the 2 and had to put him in the wild cat to score on 4th and 4. He caught 2 scores. The bomb and the first score that he did virtually by himself on a swing pass. The only score by anyone else was by Mosely it was also a 4th down and goal situation. After a bad call by the refs that led to that score after that fumble that we picked up was given back to you for a inadvertent whistle, they say, but that was bullcrap to. The whistle came after we had already picked up the ball. We were sloppy with the ball with 5 fumbles and you were too with 3.
I was there too. Owen’s gameplan was the same as it was last year. They were going to try and control the clock with their running game and size. Try to keep the game close and have a chance late. When that didn’t work , they were in trouble. They got behind and had to play catch-up and that isn’t their style. Both our lines played better last night. Owen had 141 yards of offense to ACR’s 389. The speed of our guys was the biggest factor in the game in my opinion.
That's not true. He had possession until the real whistle blew. The ref straight up said it should be our ball if not for the whistle that blew early that didnt really

Owen is the the only team I know of that can get beat by 30 and there fans think they can win there next what 7 games.I though that was one of the crazyest post I've ever read on here ,but the way this season is going who knows what might happen.almost ever Thread I read on here ,about which team is expected to win each week this season.The very opposite seems to happen .I don't know if it's just me, but this is so far been a season that just about any team you play if you are not prepared and take a team lightly they will kick your butt.I'm not knocking on Owen getting beat to AC Reynolds is nothing to hang your head about .I know if my team Mountain Heritage played the Rockets I would expect to get beat by about the same margin. I think some of us fans thought if some team in WNC was going to beat AC Reynolds this was the year ,but the 2 teams that beat the Rockets were 2 awesome teams especially Shelby. my gosh they are good..good luck to Owen until they come up the mountain this year, and please bring all your players...
The plus is other than those who were out last night we are healthy coming out of the Reynolds game which doesnt happen much, so maybe we will bring all of them lol. Ain't nobody around here gonna beat ACR. Best chance will be West Henderson but not sure they can handle the speed. So to lose like we did doesnt deter my optimism. We have a good 2a mountain football team.
