3A Rocky Mount at 2A Elizabeth City Northeastern

The 1st time they played Reidsville they blew it, the last 2 times Reidsville was just better

Last year Reidsville was the better team. NE should've won when they played Reidsville in Raleigh. Our kicker kept us in the game when we played them in Winston Salem. We'll see what happens this year, if we even have a playoff. Northeastern defense will be tested tomorrow night by the best running back they'll face all season. Our young QB I think is going to be just fine. Would love to see the standout running back transfer from Perquimans do something. He played well last year at the 1a level.

Metal detectors will now be in place at the Northeastern games. Apparently something happened when we played Rocky Mount. My wife and I were gone but we saw a lot of police with lights on speeding towards the football stadium

@UNC91 I see Greenville Rose is an upcoming opponent for your Stallions. I was looking at their schedule to see who their other loss (Hunt) was to. Not sure how good they are but I know the other team they lost to was loaded and I believe highly ranked. I will start a thread for the game tonight when I go to lunch. I will keep it updated all throughout the game. Hopefully a Northeastern win but I think we may be the underdog. I haven't checked the Simmons Rating to see what their take is. They had us losing to Rocky Mount so I won't put to much emphasis on it.

If freshwater and Co can contain the RB, under 100 yards rushing, NE should bring home the W. Would be a huge win for NE. JH rose is a solid program with many athletes. Will be a huge test for NE. Hope for safe injury free game brother. Enjoy your self at the game

Thank you and I agree it would be a huge win and confidence builder for our young QB. Hopefully our defense is solid. Looking forward to this one.
