2A State Championship Northeastern/Reidsville

You’re the big fish in a very small pond in 2A West. If you think 2A West is stronger than 2AA West, you’re the one who has issues. The gauntlet was 2AA West! Shelby is just that good. 2AA Pisgah beat half your bracket, Brevard and Heritage, held them to a combined 7 points.

Change your tampon fella, did I say 2a West was strong? No, I'll gladly admit it was the weakest out of the four. That's why we hung 60+ last game. I was replying to chopper 747 saying we couldn't beat any 704 teams.

Cat birds seat? From the guy who's team is playing sawburr in the ship and played ND last year. SMH.

2aa West was the gauntlet? FYI your 3rd round team lost to our 2nd round team. SMH again.

Your fourth round team still holds the record for "fewest points in a season"....….......0

We’re just that good. That’s just a fact, not bragging. You're familiar with Shelby as a Rams fan, our resume speaks for itself. You’re sleeping on ND, they beat your conference mate, Cummings, worst than you guys did last season. We made them appear medically.

Salisbury is 13-2, I don’t get this notion that they are supposed to be this bad team. Maybe, it’s because they are facing that respected, much heralded juggernaut in Shelby. Like I said, if Reidsville is beaten next week, and East Surry is blownout, that’s going to say a lot.

And by the way, what’s your deal constantly talking about undergarments, peeing, and circle jerking. You’re beginning to sound a lil creepy there buddy.

We beat them by 60, they beat them by 55. I think that North team is better than this Salisbury team. But, Salisbury has athletes to at least stay close for a half.

yeap 2A east is a cakewalk compared to 2AA West

I'm not taking anything away from Reidsville, rams are talented with a great coach and execution, but you're not challenged much. Not saying they're not championship caliber either. Just saying that it's been a real easy real easy road in triad 2A since Cummings fell off.

In summary, when Reidsville isn't challenged it's because they don't play anyone and when Shelby isn't challenged it's because they're "just that good". Gotcha.

The mere fact that we had to travel to Reidsville those two occasions tells the story. We would lose to a Burns, South Point, or Crest, meanwhile, y’all were beating 7 versions of Carrboro. It would be like that now, if we were in small 2A, lose one game to a formidable opponent, have to make the long drive to Reidsville.

Havent yall realized that past scores and common opponents only matter when Shelbsters say it does?

Ya know, kinda like how Shelbsters live on last year when ND beat Cummings worse than we did... But go real silent when someone brings up East Rutherford (who, according to Shelbsters, was supposed to run all over Reidsville, but after they lost then Shelbsters said they werent that good)

It’s all good, it apparently changed after NL lost to Burns, but I saw what I saw. I mentioned it in that Silent Killer thread. I want to retire from the pissing contests, but every-time I try, Franky pulls me back in.

It takes will power, which I have... I figure Reidsville's accomplishments speak for themselves just as Shelby's.
It's enough stupid stuff in the world without this. Participating in most of theses threads is really worthless from my observation. They go no where but at the same time, can go too far sometimes. It's a constant dig. Like a bunch of first graders arguing on the playground over who tagged who! LA , I don't believe you got that will power in ya ! Franky got your number ! Holla when you wanna hook some bigguns ! I can make it happen ! We can be on the same team ! It might relieve some a that pressure bro ! It sure helps me ! They still bitin'.

True statement.. I knew when Shelby put I believe 58 on AC Reynolds the lions had to be good. When I seen that score I though just go ahead and give the championship to Shelby that nobody in 2aa was going to have a change betting them.

When McMichael and Morehead become conference members in a couple of years, that will eliminate a couple of the in-county non-conference games for Reidsville, who will still have to play Rockingham County. So instead of having four non-conference dates to fill, there will be two less.

The four Reidsville's non-conference dates this year included two 1-A heavyweights (East Surry and Mount Airy) along with 3-A Eastern Guilford (a state finalist 3 years ago). They also had 4-A High Point Central on the schedule for the first time.

We're all waiting for what the next realignment will bring. Hopefully some of those Orange and Durham county schools will be placed elsewhere. It also must be noted that those Orange and Durham schools were among the state's best in sports other than football this season and conferences are put together with football in mind.

Your doing a fine job Otis, I have slightly controlled myself on the Reidsville / Northeastern thread. I'm not sure how much longer I can hold back though lol. Those Reidsville guys are starting to rachet things up.
