Seriously, ‘man?!?!? Forbush, Newton Conover, “brothaless teams” Brevard and West Stokes? The one challenge you had in 2A West, Anson County, was kicked out of the playoffs. You know for yourself that WS had no business in anyone’s 4th round, just pathetic.That’s all I’m going to say, no need to for the redundant back and forth, but you sound ridiculous.

But, I think you know the uniqueness with Catholic and their process, and how they are a tough out for anyone 99% of the time. This will be another great game between both teams. I really like Reidsville QB Pinnx very well-rounded young man from what I heard. I also like their running back #9 I remember him coming in the game last year and straight went beast mode. Northeastern DLine and DB's will be key in this game. Freshwater, Spellman, Thomas, Hinton, Riddick, and Hodge all will step up to the occasion and will be ready. Both teams have athletes across the boards we all know that I think coaching adjustments and special teams will be very important in this one. Coach Antonio Moore has done an excellent job in the last 15 years by putting Northeastern on the map he's a great coach and I think he's overdue for a state championship win. The city of Elizabeth City deserves it as well. Can Northeastern Secondary handle the passing attack of Reidsville? Can Reidsville handle the Defensive Line of Northeastern? This is a very good matchup, so many different variables. Reidsville has to give Pinnix time when he does pass.

Against teams ranked (according to Maxpreps) 266, 360, 236, 267, 364, 262, 232, and 259 in the state....middle school teams. The ONLY team they actually played put up 55 points on them. Smh. Just stating the facts.
You think Shelby ever has the chance of scheduling a power Meck team like we did with Rock Hill South Pointe a few years back?
Vance and Myers Park always have openings on their schedule....Shelby should reach out. Would be a dynamite matchup. Would prefer it over a 60 pt beat down of Rocky River or South Meck.
Yeah....I know there was talks of Shelby/Vance last year for a game to be played this year. From what I heard Lance was really considering it then got the call from App. Heard he wanted to allow the new coach to pick a team for that open slot. Once Wilbanks was finally hired as the new coach, time had run out and everyone had filled their schedules. We actually have one of the best Shelby teams ever this year. That would have been an incredible non-conference game this season. Does Vance travel well/have good home attendance?
There is a D1 school out there that could use this kid. Diamond in the rough over here. They are missing out, he's just waiting for that call. I know some of you Reidsville guys have some really good connects.
Dont want to steal the thread. Quick answer is no but it continues to get better. It would draw from alot of other fan bases
Honestly if you put Reidsville in the 704 region, they don't make the title as much as they have or have as many wins. Those schools in Alexander, Anson, Cabarrus, Catawba, Charlotte/Meck, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Johnston, Lincoln are usually gauntlets to play through.
Reidsville has struggled with Mtn Heritage, Brevard, Newton, and Polk in the recent past.
Northeastern, basically a talented small tidewater school will be no easy game for the Rams either.

Reidsville has played some of those schools. Lincolnton and East Lincoln. We've also blown out Heritage and Brevard before. The only struggle we've have with Newton was in 2006.
704 region? You do realize we just won the 2a WEST for the fourth year in a row, as in we were better than any 2a school from the 704. The only team from 2aa West that would give us a game is Shelby. I agree we play a weak schedule right now. I don't really care about our record personally, I wouldn't care if we finish at .500 every year as long as we win the championship. 704 can beat there chest all they want. If you can't admit 2aa was weak this year and last year you got issues. The gauntlet this year was 2a East and yes NE survived that so they are the team to beat.
I was referring to the past several years, like in this century. Your regular season schedule has afforded you easy #1 seeds year in and year out. You can have a down game with a weak schedule and still win. It's hard to get up for 3 tough games in a row during the regular season and carry that into the playoffs
Vance would have won and may have shut Shelby out, but it would still have been great to see.
You are exactly right. Northeastern is a big team with a powerful running game. If they can overpower the Rams defense, keep the ball away from the Rams lethal offense, and don't turn the ball over, they have a great chance at an upset.
Reidsville loses next week to Northeastern, and East Surry gets blown out like I expect them to, that’s going to be telling. You got the nerve to mention the word “weak”, and have West Stokes in the 4th round, a team who lost to 1A Mt, Airy, a team who is at best a first round opponent in any bracket. Yet, they were in the 4th round in 2A West. That’s just pathetic! I saw that Heritage was down when they barely beat Polk County by 7. Mitchell beat Polk 38-0. Smh.
Your ADMS have you guys in a good position, in the cat bird’s seat for sure. You’ve gotten fat out there in 2A West, spoiled, never having to travel. You’re the big fish in a very small pond in 2A West. If you think 2A West is stronger than 2AA West, you’re the one who has issues. The gauntlet was 2AA West! Shelby is just that good. 2AA Pisgah beat half your bracket, Brevard and Heritage, held them to a combined 7 points.

I don’t think you guys road in the playoffs was all that. I give you props on burns. They are a legit top 5 team. I think Salisbury is better than what many give them credit for

Calpreps biggest endorser are Reidsville posters, would you believe that beloved computer had North Lincoln beating y’all on a neutral field by 2 or 3 points, can quite remember, but a win nonetheless.

Y’all cover that spread vs Northeastern expected to be 14 points, then that’s telling, too. Northeastern is an impressive team, no doubt. But, I think we all overrated the 2A East. I said that earlier in the post season. Nothing against those guys, just posting a fact, but look at what happen to WRH, they were once the favorite coming out of the East and were blown out.
