The last 2 you listed, one of the 4 will represent the 4A West in the state championship.
I'll post from Burns tomorrow night. But if there's gonna be an upset in round 2, in my opinion, it'll be RS Central over Lincoln Charter. Also North Surry may give North Stanley some trouble.

Tuscola 9-1 over Cramer in 5. I’m pretty sure this one got finalized early due to weather.

One heck of a game. 4-4 going into the bottom of the seventh. Louis Acevedo with game winning RBI. His third hit of the night. Second year in a row knocking Reagan out of the playoffs.
I wish I could but I will have to work. If I was off I sure would go.
I figure they would be a good one. That was one of my games of interest.
Not only 2 good teams, but big time rivalry. The place was packed. Also softball hosted S. Iredell and the 2 fields are side by side so flowing between the 2 games was easy.
According to HSOT Lincoln Charter beat RS Central 19-15.
So 3rd round will be Lincoln Charter @ Burns.

West Forsyth living dangerously with these walk off wins! Sounds like it was a great game and I am sure the place was jammed since this is a rivalry and the schools are not far apart. Just hate to see two great teams have to play so early in the post season. I think WF beat Reagan all three games this season but they were all close?
Still another 2nd rd game to be played. TC Roberson vs Charlotte Catholic at 6pm. Looking forward to that one.
Heard Lincoln Charter won this game with a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the 8th. Question now is do they have any pitching left to face Burns?
But I have a feeling the weather may play havoc on the games next week.
TCR avenges an earlier loss to CC. Looks like the Rams are going to be a very tough out as usual.
TCR has another tough game Tuesday in Providence. Providence beat Catholic 2/3 this year. Providence and TCR are very familiar with each other as Providence beat TCR in the 4A West Finals in 2022 on their way to a 34-0 and State Championship.

If TCR wins state they probably have toughest route there. Definitely the toughest of the upper seeds. However, this is a team that knew what they had this season and scheduled a very tough regular season to prepare for the 4A west gauntlet.
That's a good question. Burns no doubt has a deeper pitching staff. Lincoln Charter lost their best pitcher to arm trouble in mid season. Both teams can hit. Lincoln Charter had 5 HRs in the R-S Central game and have 29 on the season. Of course, I know Burns who doesn't put any stats on Max Preps and has played a tougher schedule has hit a bunch of HRs this season as well. Could be a few HRs go out of that Burns park Tuesday night.
