I notice and also good to see 2 mountain teams of West Henderson and TC Roberson in the State Championship final.

TC has a very rich tradition in baseball. They put me out twice in my high school career. And we had the lead late in both games. West Henderson is a bit of a surprise but they've been knocking on the door recently if memory serves me correctly.

TC has a very rich tradition in baseball. They put me out twice in my high school career. And we had the lead late in both games. West Henderson is a bit of a surprise but they've been knocking on the door recently if memory serves me correctly.

West Henderson has great baseball tradition as well and was one of if not the best WNC baseball school through the 90s and early 2000s. They fell off through the 2010's a little bit, but are getting back to where they were for many years.

It looks like yesterday was a good day for the west. As near as I can tell the western team won every game, baseball and softball, except for 3A softball where W. Alamance beat E. Lincoln. To add to that Audrey Kell won the 4A soccer state title.
