I’m ready for the playoffs to begin. Hope if the day comes I will be able to see West Rowan n East Lincoln matchup.
2 updates to give with girls varsity.
West Rowan defeats Northwest Cabarrus 68-40 and East Lincoln defeats West Iredell 81-12. Keeping these 2 teams undefeated. I will be curious to see if these 2 teams will collide in the playoffs. Will be interesting.

They are both seeded as wild cards. Seed #1 first the #2's and wild cards go by their RPI's. RPI's as followed St Stephens #25--Hickory #23--North Iredell #14.

I find this interesting. Common opponents for West Rowan and East Lincoln.
West Rowan played North Iredell twice in non conference. West Rowan won 77-39. 1st time and 75-39 2nd time.
East Lincoln beat North Iredell twice in conference. East Lincoln won 1st time 50-27 and 58-41 the 2nd time.

Both W Rowan and E Lincoln are obviously strong teams. It’s hard to tell how good W Rowan is since they’ve not played a true strong team this year. I hate they didn’t get to face Salisbury in the Xmas Tournament.
E Lincoln did defeat Mallard Creek by 10 pts. Which is a decent team.

Hibriten beats South Caldwell 58-49 to at least clinch a co championship depending on Watauga/Ashe Co and the #1 seed in the conference tournament
Ledford defats N Davidson 49-37 and finishes second place in the MPC. North finishes third.
Crest Girls are playing well right now. They have won 10 straight including wins over Huss and Cramer. They are a young team and things have really started clicking. Could be a dangerous team for a higher seed.
