According to Asheville paper, Enka will be without Jacob Tiller (26 ppg) going forward--they returned a bunch from a 4th round team and gave Hickory their only loss earlier this year. Will be interesting to see if they regroup, but they just lost to AC Reynolds pretty badly the other night.

All I can say is that they played in the Freedom Christmas Tournament, lost a close one to the Patriots in the finals, and he was fine in the postgame awards ceremony. I think it happened after the Jets resumed conference play, but I’ve only heard second hand accounts.

I know they were down by 19 as the 3rd quarter ended. That's two teams going in different directions at this time.

In the last few weeks, after watching the referees in our area, some covering 4 games a night I'm of the opinion that the games would be better officiated with two quality officials. I'm seeing newbies that are having big time issues keeping up and older officials that are worn out before half time of the last four game set. The JV action is handled by two officials and I honestly believe the varsity action would be better officiated with two as well over what is currently happening.

They've won at least a share. West will still have to beat Tuscola tomorrow to win it outright, but Tuscola is winless in the conference.

North Meck defeated West Charlotte 62-55. My understanding is North Meck struggled with WC. WC is 11-12 (5-7). Their record is deceiving. Playing in I Meck along with some tough non conference teams. They have 2 seniors. One is 6’ 11 and the other is 6’ 10. The other players between 6- 6’4”. Should they make it in the playoffs they want be easy to handle.

Unfortunitly the NCHSAA come out with the crappy RPI's(Rating Percentage Index) formula. It consists of a team winning % , the teams opponents winning % and the teams opponent winng % to com up with a rating. I don't understand how a team like Southern Guilfrod playing in a conerence with Dudley and Ben L Smith compared to the schedule Asheboro played. It doesn'r really make sense but our NCHSAA make it hard to follow their logics?

I agree...It makes absolutely no sense when Asheboro chooses to play seven 2-A, four 1-A ( they lost twice to Thomasville, a 1-A school ), a 1-23 Western Alamance 3-A school, and they played Ragsdale once, with Ragsdale being a 4-A school, for their non conference schedule. Meanwhile, Southern Guilford , Smith and Dudley were playing basically all 4-A schools for their non conference schedule. It'll all come out in the wash..It always does...

I’m planning on going. Does anyone know if you can pay at the door or have to pay on line. I was wanting to watch both teams play and this will be my opportunity to see both teams.

Up here at Concord high for semis. Central Cabarrus up 55-28 over NW Cabarrus at HT. These guys CC are super fast and goood. They amaze me the way they can pass the ball around steal , rebound, hit their shots. They are a complete team. NW Cabarrus has actually haven’t done bad. Sunk some 3s from the outside. With the score the way it is I felt like NW Cabarrus is playing as best of ball as can be with this team
