I might have missed some, and I didn't even attempt to track down all college players who played high school baseball in NC, but of the 1214 players taken in the 2018 MLB draft, I see nine current high school seniors from NCHSAA member schools.....If i missed one, please add the name to the list:

21st Rd, Overall Pick #620: Zach Hammer (RHP) Alexander Central
27th Rd, Overall Pick #819: Christian Jayne (CF) Terry Sanford
28th Rd, Overall Pick #835: Trey Whitley (CF) North Johnston
35th Rd, Overall Pick #1060: Jeremiah Boyd (C) Hickory Ridge

-Remember that of ALL the baseball players across America (and some from out of the country) including not only seniors in high school, but also juniors and seniors in college, plus also many junior college freshman and sophomores, these guys were chosen, whether they go straight to the pros or choose to go to college, they should be congratulated on the recognition of being chosen
