South Rowan up 14-0 in 3rd

It's been a rough start on the season for the Clinton Dark Horses 🐎, but they found some life on offense against Princeton, as they produced an offensive td for the first time this season. It was said that they moved some players around during their bye week, and it paid off for their offense. Midway comes in to this game with only one loss to an undefeated James Kenan team. Midway has never won a football game against Clinton before, will the Raiders get their first ever victory over the struggling Dark Horses? I think this will be the best Clinton has played thus far on the season, but will fall short. Midway gets the win 28-21

My opinion is East has steamed rolled everyone in their path and it's going to be difficult to stop the Eagle Offense who averages 55pts per game while defensively, they are very good. Mt Tabor has a really good team and should be able to hang around. I'll take East 38-21.

With a tropical event coming to the coast again, some games in the east will be moved to Thursday. SWE at Greene Central has already been moved. Post others here for everyone.

Congratulations to the Wonder JVs on their 32-6 victory over West Cabarrus tonight. The JVs improve their over all record to 7-0 and will host South Iredell next Thursday evening.

Before the storms Wautauga had a perfect record and was likely in line for a high playoff seed. According to MaxPreps their (revised I assume) remaining schedule is as follows:

10/18 @ Alexander Central
10/25 vs Hibriten
11/1 @ Ashe County
11/1 vs Freedom
11/5 @ Ashe County
11/8 @ South Caldwell

The first two games seem reasonable, if playing conditions will allow them to play, but the last four seem impossible, to nearly impossible. It shows 4 games between 11/1 and 11/8, and 2 games on 11/1.

For the record, Wautauga seems like a great school, and I hope they can make the playoffs, and I would hate to see them knocked out by a natural disaster. The question is, is it possible?

Crazy after thought, but could you merge the varsity and JV and divide them into 2 teams that you thought gave you the best chance to play and win 2 varsity games on the same day?

Gonna be a battle for the Stallions, if we can pull this one out it sets up a winner take all game against the Wolfpack to finish off the regular season.

Bulldogs play Salisbury at home Friday. After last Friday night struggles vs smith I’m sure their will be a running clock by the end of the first half🤣
