I sure am hoping for it, but I think we'll be the ones to screw that up. Y'all take care of business though.
Your players quit let that sink in!!!!!!!Sad, definitely not! We showed up and made a game of it against your best team ever. I’ll be over on the 3A boards next year to check on yall…3A….let that sink in!
Like Robbinsville this year! Knights had players quit on them so that's your teams future!!!!! Thats the new culture in Robbinsville! It’s always excuses why the game was close with yall! And past the hold is irrelevant! Kinda like the bears starting next year…
I agree. I believe the paid staff was implementing decisions made by the school board.Once again, HR, the board and the admin team are responsible for what has happened. They had a window of several months to hire someone but sat on it and got what they got. Now time will tell if the Dogs can turn it back to winning after leaving the current CCC. Football is not the only sport that is or will be on the struggle bus due to the loss of entire coaching staffs and good teachers.
The refs have been calling that a lot more last couple years. And they are real touchy about the call. What looks like a good block now draws a flag. Think MA has had maybe 5 called this year with at least 3 looked to be clean blocks.I learned a ref hand signal of a personal foul penalty somehow I didn't know.
I've seen it twice now once at the Mtn Heritage and then at the Draughn game.
He signaled personal foul the put his fist together 🤜🤛. No one around me in the stands or I asked knew and I finally found it online, it's an illegal blindside block.
How in the world as much football I've watched and those I asked and didn't know that? 😂
If they do move to Saturday, I may get to attend. Ultimately, I don't want anyone from MC or Boone for that matter, being hurt while traveling up the mountain. They’re considering moving the game to Saturday. No problem playing in the snow, there are concerns with roads traveling to the game.
Isn’t it sad you don’t have a team that is relevant after we kick there butts last year. Oh well better luck next year. You should follow suit of your other guys up there and be quiet lolIt’s always excuses why the game was close with yall! And past the hold is irrelevant! Kinda like the bears starting next year…
It’s always excuses why the game was close with yall! And past the hold is irrelevant! Kinda like the bears starting next year…Starmount had -1 rushing. MA hurt themselves with punt return and 2 td runs called back on holding calls when runmer was past the hold.
Says the biggest fish in the pond! Here is the hard truth about this so called discussion board. It is only a discussion board when you talk in favor of certain teams but the truth is that for the last 3 years there is a bunch of haters on here because we have had all of them give us there best shot and took care of business and they can’t stand it. That goes for all of them including moderators, owners and especially mountain posters. The only exception is Tarboro and ER fans because we have a mutual respect for each other. So here is a solution instead of bad mouthing, shutting down post, talking about a persons education and any other comments….SHUT UP and bring your boys up to the granite city and knock us off the perch. We will be waiting and it gonna take a lot more than talk and hatred to do that. Walk the walk then talk. Good luck!!!!
Here we comeAlright Cleveland County, nothing wrong with going 4-0 this week.
Can’t wait! Lion.Dear Maiden fans,
Welcome to Blanton Stadium friday, but we have some rules we need to remind you of...
1. You must wear store bought shoes
2. Grizz aint allowed to be wearing no tank tops and jorts in 32 degree weather...
3. Maiden Creek, I sent a pic to my former co-workers that will be working that gate you enter, and told them to check you for toothpick knives and airplane bottles...
4. No baccer chewing (unless you bring me a can or three of copenhagen then you are good.)
One livemush sammich per patron CREEK!!!!!!
Biggest rule of them all
5. If Lincolnton decides to make the trip, he must have his seat saved at the top of the visitors side (left hand if you are facing pressbox) and the entire top row is his, so he can have room to pace back and forth
All jokes aside, looking forward to what I honestly think will be a good, hard fought ball game.....Should be a barnburner... be safe gents.... You too Creek...
PS the poster above is correct it was 63-28 Rembert still threw for I believe 328 yards that night on us.....
Boone ain't all that bad if you meet the right person. I did. Dreary at times but they kept the dorms warm.
