McGowan is getting a little more comfortable each week. To Alexander Centrals credit, they are much improved from last season. They had some good size and physical. Y'all gonna kill the poor McGowan kid playing him both ways lol. I know he has great size and is a great athlete but at least wait until later in the season to put him on the DL.

First, I wasn't being serious other than he is a good coach. I'm not sure about the "he inherited a pretty good situation" part as they only had really 1 maybe 2 solid players. The rest were put in a situation to be successful which is part of coaching. Glad to hear he is getting the basketball team in shape and keeping them in shape, which again, is a part of coaching (maximize each and ever aspect of the game). I'm not interested in other aspects of "how" or anything, I was simply saying he is a good coach that could probably help out in certain areas, even in football. Good luck!

Not much has changed. We are spreading the ball around more through the first couple of weeks. I suspect in attempts in trying to keep Blee healthy. Defense is young but athletic. We are a year away from a run or two.

actually has everything to do with my check if you knew my position (not gonna get all my personal life out there) . Can and will pull for my alma mater always but its Black n Gold for me, unless the wind takes my career in another direction and then I can add that school too :)

Cox Mill’s has some very very good athletes. #4 and #5 are uber talented athletes with speed and will be problems for everyone they face. Cox Mill also has a strong jv team that has a lot of kids that will help them in the future. Cox Mill non-conference schedule has been pretty ridiculous the past two years. There are not many teams that can play their non conference gauntlet and come out with their confidence intact or unscathed.

Cards playin tough to be so young. Couple of things.. that will be tough to continue winning against teams.. ya have to have one or the other against the pass.. either good coverage or a great pass rush.. you can’t be bad at both and continue winning.. at least shore up one of those things defensively.. i know that’s easier said than done.. but lookin from the stands.. the opposing qb’s seem to have minutes in the pocket to go thru every read.. and yet receivers still get wide open… due to the defensive pressure not getting to the Qb.. and cb’s and safeties getting completely lost.. Thanks to a pretty solid run defense The Cards are hanging tough. Good Job EW.
