Yeah I'm thinking it could be a closer game than what some people are thinking. I think it Hickory wins but I think maybe by 6-10 points tbh. I don't see it being a blow out really.

Personally glad I don’t know you. I’m certainly not living my life wondering what other people think of me on a message board either. But those that do know me, might think differently than you. I posted a breakdown in a different thread. I feel like this could be an instant classic. I will say Monroe wins a lot of games against their competition level before the game is played. That being said Porter Ridge is 4a so that should not play a factor in this game. Monroe struggles against ball control and people who will keep attacking and can get chunks on the ground. If your patient and have a good running game and slow down the pace of the game it usually bodes well for you. Most high school OC's will abandon a plan if it isn't "producing" early enough instead of tweaking and adjusting. This game is a real toss up, it's the kind of game that true competitors like. Once the early hype settles down and emotions and jitters get out of the way the game should be a real treat.

MA could not win another game and it would be ok. I have got to see my alma mater and school I played for be in 5 State Championships winning 3! I have been lucky as most fans would love to have that. 2008,2009,2017,2022,2023 beating the Robbinsville team to get there in 2 of those!

ED has their Qb and 2 rb’s back that got hurt against us. I’ll go with ED in this game. 24-12

I guess the reason I called Jake out is because ordinarily, when you think of fullback, you think mostly short yardage and blocking back only in most offenses. I’m not sure how many times Jake has seen Davis play. If last night was the first time, then I could see how he would come to the conclusion that Davis would be a good traditional FB, since he ran over and thru a lot of guys but didn’t break any long TD runs. I was just pointing out that Davis has Allison ability too (can take it to the house at any time). He’s done it all season until last night and has since he’s been playing football.

I agree with all of that, if last night was someone's first time watching Davis they probably don't have an accurate feel for how good he actually is. Robbinsville had a good defense and limited his impact somewhat. My only critique is he and all the Murphy JV backs for that matter still hesitate a bit too much waiting on blocks to set up and end up pitter pattering and dancing around in the backfield a little too often, once Davis develops more of a foot in the ground, one cut and go mentality he's going to be really hard to handle.

Are you by any chance related to Blake nolefan? I talked with his grandpa and dad at the game last night, both of em nice guys.

North Rowan had Andrew's down 41-0 according to maxpreps. I'll go with West by 14 at home. Walkertown still biggest challenge outside of Reidsville.
