I wonder if Jordan Marsh (former HR OL coach with Marty Paxton/Jason Seidel) would have any interest in the job? I know he’s a little younger, but he could be getting a phone call - he and the AD know each other pretty well.

Should be lots of quality candidates to pick from - Harrisburg is a great little area and the Harrisburg Cowboys/HR JV football pipelines seem to be infused with some talent right now.

Maybe, just maybe the ref's will let the boys play and not be THE story of the game tonight. We have had a bad crop of ref
s on both sides lately. Does anybody know if there has been a change in the rules regarding blocking a pursuer of the ball carrier, we have had two calls in the past two weeks where our blocker CLEARLY blocked a potential tackler in the front but was flagged, both times the defender had just turned around, is that a new rule?

I’ll disagree with the Cab co portal hurting them because NW lost a couple huge players and they were very successful. What a lot of people don’t know is the “5 kids who left HR” had players go back after they were looked into. I’d say HR lost 2 starters. The issue is the athletes in the building who won’t play.

The offense for the hornets has developed a lot since early season and the defense seems to have settled in though against a weaker conference. I saw in the Salisbury post where Massey had this down as a blowout for the hornets, I am not at all ready to predict that. Not sure what lead to such a discrepancy from the earlier game to that prediction. I think this should be a great game....can't wait to watch

We (McDowell) play Franklin in a few weeks. Could be a good game.

Correct. If they were allowed to participate in sports then both schools would have to add the number to their adm. So in Haywood is would be Tuscola adding 176 and Pisgah adding 176. That’s why they voted not to allow it. If a kid wants to go to earl college that decision should be made before entering 9th as I understand it.
