I don’t disagree with that. But believe that split leagues should be kept to a minimum and only when other options don’t make sense. So, especially in the more populous areas, don’t do it just because it’s necessary in other areas.

No doubt, some of this is mere semantics but sometimes a huge portion of whether teams, coaches, fans, etc view it positively/ negatively is simply due to that. Split conferences put a bad taste in people's mouths even when sometimes we're only talking about a school with 790 students playing one with 805. Regions, at least, kills those mentalities but I also think they provide some other semi-advantages as well.

Hopefully, they can right the ship with a new hire and the kids can get excited again. That JV team wasn't all that bad. They could return to prominence with the right hire. I'm sure their AD will get the right guy.

I do think Oregon is a good spot for him….I’m sure he has a great NIL deal and it’s a lot better for him than having to play in the sec and the grind of that conference

Didn't say he was but I want stability. Looking for coaches every two-three years wont fix anything. For the most part fix the offense and the team is fine. Defense was solid for the most part. If we go 4-7 again I'll on the fire the coach bandwagon. If you think coach George is a flag football coach then that shows how clueless you are. It also says alot about our opponents coaches considering many barely beat us.

If the current RPI formula is used, and there are split conferences, I think it unnecessarily complicates the playoff pairings. But maybe that’s just me.
Not that I have a vote, but my preference is always minimal travel, some parity and maintenance of long time rivals where possible. Oh, and don’t put us in with those High Point schools. They bring out the worst in our players and fans.

As many as he decides too, when he steps onto the field 99 times out of 100 hes the best player out there and has backed that up with play time and time again. Im taking east by 14 would say 21 but i think west will score late when it doesnt matter.

Or its a life lesson that the rest of life/athletics does. The transfer portal in college and free agency in the pros.
