Huss won the regular season and was seeded as a #1 from the conference. You seed the #1's then the #2, wildcards and conference tournament winner by RPI's. Winners of regular season can't be jumped no matter what happens in conference tournament.

RPI's doesn't make any diference once the regular season and conference tournaments are over. They seed the #1's and the rest afterwards.
Lets say there are 10 conferences. 1 through 10 are #1's from their conference by RPI's. The #2's, wild cards and conference tournaments are seeded by their RPI's 11 through 32.

IMO I don't like having the conference tournaments. All teams can do is by winning the conference tournament and get the #2 seed. Unless a team wins it that's not in the top 32 RPI's. It doesn't change the RPI seeds. #2's, wildcards, and conference tournament winners are in the same RPI seeding.
