Florida Legislature Opens the Floodgates for HS Sports Transfers

WOW. Looks like the inmates are running the asylum down in the sunshine state. Hope their state senate has some semblance of sanity and prevents this from becoming law.

This is a perfect example of "dumbing down" the system instead of tackling a problem head on.

I am pretty sure that Manny Diaz, Jr. who proposed this legislation is the father of Manny Diaz who is DC at Miss. State. He was at NC State with Amato and I believe I remember him telling me that his dad was or had been mayor of Miami. So I know he is a politician. Manny went to Miss. St., then Texas and now back to Miss. St. He is a great guy but I hope for the sake of the schools in Florida that this bill doesn't pass. In my opinion it would be no time until a handful of schools had all the athletes and competition would be a thing of the past.
