FCS applies only to football. Basketball, baseball they all go to the same NCAA tournament. 2016 the D-1 baseball national championship was won by Coastal Carolina. The non power 5's are D-1.

Since this is clearly a FOOTBALL Thread, I am not going to say tonight's game was lights out good by both teams. Thomasville played great defense the entire game, pitcher did everything anyone could ask of him.
Mt Airy made a lot of contact of the ball but Thomasville made play after play.

Bryson George pitched a flawless game giving up only 3 walks (each in a different inning). At least twice Mt Airy turned double plays to remove the threat. A double play ended the game.

Game played at Wake Forest. Largest crowd I have seen at a HS other than a state championship. No HS in Forsyth county could have handle it.
West plays TC Roberson tomorrow night.

There last game was Friday. So yes not playing Monday and playing Thursday they would have both there pitchers available.
