Lake Norman Charter @ Union Academy, UA 27-21

West Montgomery @ West Stanly, WM 49-14

Albemarle, Chatham Central and East Montgomery hit the road and lose. Union Pines ruins North Moore's home opener. North Stokes stomps South Davidson. Union Academy gets past Lake Norman Charter. West Montgomery whips West Stanly.

I like CC's chances at Hobbton. SD might shock the world and win an early game. Albemarle will bounce back in a week, but this is too much to overcome on the road. West Montgomery? No way WS defense can contain the attack....all respectfully...IMO.

If the North Moore offense gets cranked up, I think there could be a shootout in Robbins this Friday night. EM burned UP on some pass plays. The UP defense needs to also work in their tackling. This could be fun to watch. JV games have been close in the last few years.

WM 42-14 WM finds their groove this week dispite being a few starters short. They are so deep at most positions that it won't hurt to awful bad.

good question.... Not sure that any are. I've been at practice a couple of times this week. I didn't see anyone not participating. Buzzard may know more than he's letting on about. I think we will be ok. The team looked good. The first game of the season was an eye opener. One team. One goal. All the crap that has been talked in the community, message boards and in school was definitely a wake up. Watch these boys....... they are strong, pissed off now and realize that nothing is promised.
