This is a big win for Burns. Down 21-28 Burns forced turnovers and put up the final 27 to end it.
That win should help Burns confidence when it’s time to play Shelby. Highland Tech, Bessemer and Thomas Jefferson won’t provide any competition.
Good win for us. That offense from Watauga is unlike anything I've seen. It took us the entire first half to get used to. But the second half we figured it out. I guess I'll see you all in about 6 weeks. It'll be boring on here for a while.
Is there anything that HT or TJC beats Burns and Shelby in besides a quiz bowl or

Where did you go? Turned out Burns has some athletes too. Y’all have a good team. It was a great game. But can’t go thumping your chest and then disappear when the other team comes back to win. Them’s the breaks.

Our problem, up 19-8, was not putting the game away. If Burns has that figured out already...bravo on them. We got 7 games to figure it out
