No not really . Monroe worries me the most but one game at a time !
No fear or doubt. If we play good we can beat anybody in 2A. If we get beat by a better team I will congratulate them. I honestly don't think this team has played it's best game yet. GO LIONS!
They all worry me about the same with who is left in the bracket.’ This is as tough as I’ve seen 2a it would be hard even if it was split.
Tough as I have ever seen it with 8 teams left.

It was Salisbury because Shelby went to Salisbury the next year in the western Semifinal. They played two years in a row.
MaxPreps says you lost to Salisbury at home 34-26 in 09, box score shows they came from behind to win it. Lost to bandys in 08 at home 22-21.
pretty sure it was '09 because Reidsville beat Newton-Conover in the state finals that year....the week before N-C had beaten Salisbury in the Western Regional Final.....Reidsville repped the East that year in the finals.........................
All I know whoever comes out of the West will be battle tested and ready for the East.
Who ever comes out of the west this year may be the best team in the state.
After this Friday…they’re will be a couple 2a teams just outside of the top 10…maybe in the top 10….of the overall NC Max Preps rankings.
