West Forsyth is playing great football winning 5 straight. They will be playing for a chance to have a 3 way tie for the CPC Title along with Mt Tabor. East can win the CPC outright, they’ve been dominate this year and have beat West down pretty regularly the past 4/5 years. Either way, it’s rivalry week and anything can happen in this Forsyth County Championship. Tabor will be pulling for West that’s for sure…

Dang, 3-4 gets you in the playoffs in 4A football. I knew all those losing record 1A teams got in. What was Davie N/C record and RPI?

Don’t get me wrong, I hope they get in, more the merrier in the CPC.

East will likely win easily. Too many horses and too much talent for West. I highly doubt the West offense can go score for score with East.

I think West matches up real well with East Forsyth. They are bigger than East and West defense has speed on the corners and with run stuffers up the middle. I'm not saying they will win; but they can give East just as good a game as Mt Tabor did and that score was 35-28.

I'm being told that East Forsyth, Davie, RJR, Parkland, Glenn & Mt Tabor will be 7-A next year while West Forsyth & Reagan will be 8-A and the CPC conference will stay in-tact.... Interesting

Yes that is correct. In fact, Parkland was larger than East Forsyth last year for the 2023-2024 ADMs.

CPC 23-24 ADMS
West Forsyth 2312
Reagan 2264
Davie 1932
RJ Reynolds 1775
Parkland 1793
East Forsyth 1715
Glenn 1536
Mount Tabor 1444

So the CPC will most likely lose Mt Tabor and Glenn and that is sad. I guess they don't want any 6-A teams in a conference with 8-A & 7-A schools.
The conference will probably settle with 6 teams and not add anybody I'm presuming.

Where do you think Tabor and Glenn will end up. Possibly Atkins in Forsyth and GSO schools?

East's dominance over West in recent years is certainly a factor to consider, as their track record suggests they know how to exploit weaknesses and capitalize on opportunities. For instance, in the last few matchups, East has put together some strong performances, leading to decisive victories. However, the nature of rivalry games often leads to unexpected outcomes, as emotions run high and players give their all to secure bragging rights. Just look at past rivalries where underdogs have risen to the occasion against favored teams!

With all the stakes involved, I'm curious to see how West will approach this game, especially with the added pressure of needing a win to keep their CPC Title hopes alive.
