The Demise of the Golden Lions was greatly exaggerated. Hats off to the coaches and players especially the O-Line. Tremendous improvement! Let's keep getting better.
That second quarter defensive adjustment turned that game around. Oline showed out, coaching staff top notch. Great game lions.
Good win for Shelby. Congrats to Coach Ware for turning it around. But... anyone who says they weren't bad at the first of the year is wrong. They were pretty bad at running the ball. Much better now. I saw them and they were BAD. But Shelby always gets better. Too bad SP.

No truth is , we weren't playing as a unit 1st of year, the OLine had no experience and we made mistake after mistake, left D on field way to long, every week over 100 yrds penalties.

Crest had 17 starters back off a pretty good team. Anything short of the 4th round is a failed season. Well they beat Shelby so it will never be a failed season.
Shelby always gets things going late in the year. They are a legit threat. I'd worry about a south point rematch though, I hate those rematches in the playoffs.
You would be surprised at the people in Rutherford co. this year that said “Ol man Shelby’s really down this year” and I would just laugh and inform them they lost they darn minds. Good teams and great programs get better with every game. I came down and watched the Freedom game and thought “needs work” now granted we are not that good but I saw a team that had gelled and was playing good football. The KM game I also watch and it was just clicking. Congrats gents
