Lol... Why? I never saw so much doom and gloom after one game. People were dismissive of what 72 said about points being left on the field, but we did just that. That score could have easily been 28-0 just as he said.

They don't mean anything, but yet another poster chimed in about what he saw in a scrimmage, a glorified practice. I just reacted, wondering why no mention of how ACR looked against Burns, since scrimmages seem to carry a lot of weight w/ some.

I get a kick out of it every year..... The "all the sudden" gloom and doom for the Lions after last Friday has me tickled.... We may take a lump or two along the way during the regular season, but Ill say it.... We have won 51 out of 54 games, have absolutely destroyed 2a competition by the tune of about 41 to 14 give or take a point or three on each side, since we started this run....
The road to a 2a state championship still goes through Shelby.... Bottom line....

I agree 1000% and with this program that should always be the #1 priority. However, with at least some of your fans that isnt enough. The Shelby world domination tour with the " best team ever" is supposed to be racing down the tracks right now. When the expectation bar is set at beat everyone by 50 then a simple 2a title feels like underachieving.
Just guessing here because I didnt actually see the game but if I was to get a Freedom fan on here I am betting they could come up with 3 or 4 plays that they didnt execute on that could have made it 28-14 Freedom.??
Games between good teams are always decided by who makes the least mistakes and points being left on the field.

Wel this ACR fan has total and utmost respect for Shelby and I don't get why so many people are picking us to win "easily". I assure you IF we were to win it will be a nail biter! If I had to pick honestly with no personal feelings I'd pick Shelby, they've earned the right to be favored and should be favored. The 2015 game between these two was one of the best games I've ever witnessed.Plenty of offense and drama to last me a while. I see tonight's game as just as entertaining with the Golden Lions having the edge solely on it being a home game for them.

That was an incomplete pass, terrible call. The refs just gave ACR a score. Ridiculous!

This offense catches up to this defense for the Lions watch out....... They played much better tonight still a couple things to smooth out
