Not really a lot of talk going around for this big time clash in the FCC, besides a few score predictions. I have a feeling most won't be picking East Bladen to win this one, but I think the Eagles have a good chance in this one if everyone is healthy. WRH has a great squad, and some superb athletes, can't wait to see this one. What does everyone think about this matchup?

My prediction: EB 21-20

I,ve seen both teams play and I think this is one of those games either team could win on a given night. I am giving EB one touchdown adv because of home field advantage but I believe it will come down to who wants it the most and the turnover differential WRH typically doesn't play well at EB but I hope they can break the cycle this time having said all that I think it's going to be a exciting game don't think too many people will be leaving early but you never know what will happen when two great programs collide.

I like East Bladen to win, but what the heck do I know!!!!!!!!! That is my game of the week in southeast NC. I do believe in order for EB to win their Head Coach must be more aware of field position.

How is WRH's JV team this year? It's typically really solid, and from what I've been able to find I think they only have one loss (to East Duplin). East Bladen's JV team is ridiculously good this year and have some real studs that will probably contribute in the playoffs. Some quick #'s for them this year: They are now 7-0 and are outscoring their opponents 296-64. That's an average of 42.3 points per game on offense and only 9.1 points per game allowed on defense...The future of East Bladen football looks great!! (*played Fairmont JV when Pender didn't have a team)

I talked with a close friend who was at the game. It seems that 8 of WRH starting 11 had a lot of "B"'s on their helments, similar to what the varsity uses. does this mean what i think it means.
