Weather forecasters fell on their faces yet again. Thursday night was just a steady rain and Friday night was dry as could be. All games should have been played Friday night in the Triad area. Was comfortable and dry outside last night.

I've been saying it for a couple of years now. Western finally found their coach and are heading upward. They might finish as high as 5th in the conference in my opinion. On the flipside, SW might not win another game the rest of the way.

Yes, but even earlier in the week, many forecasters were saying later into Friday would be fine in the Triad area. Games should have been Friday night. There is no reason to make changing to Thursday so early in the week. I realize you cannot wait until the last minute to make such a change. But that doesn't have to be done on a Monday or even early Tuesday.

Unneeded closures? If that storm slightly track further east which it ended up anyway, but more than it did things get out of hand quick as they did in the west and all of a sudden you can't get kids home. It's not about football in these decisions. It's just what it is.

in 2016 Page made it to the 4AA State Championship game, and in 2017 11-2 lost in a 9-5 final score rock fight with Mallard Creek. So since 2018, we've been down... that is when things started to really unravel for then coach rolfes. Especially in 2019 when he got fired. No one said a word in 2020, just that we hired Robertson. in 2021 things were looking up... but we knew there was a sense of fools gold because we didnt have a proper QB... Crazy to think that Page beat NW in 21, Reidsville in 22, and almost beat Grimsley in 22, 27-22, without one.

It's pretty clear that it's different this go round. Extremely young nucleus. Page has never started this many freshman and sophomores on offense, and if they did it was back in the 60s when the program first started. The freshman QB looks to be the best we've had since Will Jones in 2016, 8 years ago. On top of that a freshman starting at RB, and 3 guys at WR 2 fresh and a soph. The closest I can remember was when Summers and Rogers started as Sophomores in 2009....
