Saw this earlier on the 1A discussion thread. Which team has the best offense and defense in the Three Rivers Conference? Thought it would be fun to read the comments.

Pride, right now u would have to say Whiteville.probably going to win conf.
Quick on Defense,pretty good Offense,Carr
Makes them click. In playoffs he will be contained by one of better teams. I say second round this year..

Right now I am focused on Fairmont, Red Springs and Whiteville. Do not much about the other teams.
Swett RS,Fairmont playing for 1 place in 2a
TRC. Pack has 1A seeding wrapped up in TRC. And has beat RS and FHS.
I hate to say SC is a non factor at this point.
I was really wrong thinking they could beat Fairmont, complete melt down last week.
Why would it be different this week?

I think it's a good match up actually. I have not seen St Pauls play so I could not make any predictions on who could win.

GOTO,
Whiteville is doing great things for sure, but I just was not impressed with them. I will not repeat what went wrong in our matchup but what I did see is that the QB was the only X-Factot. Of course there was other's running but it the team was all him. In my Views.

U are right sir. Carr goes so does team.
Their not as good as last year by far. Might see u Friday nite,at RS.

gotoblueg, WHY dID you think South Collumbus would beat FaiRmont? I'm nit trying to start a argument. but the Stalions win three games in a row against teams with a combined record of 4-19. This is what i was trying to say last week. South Columbus will be luvky to win two of the last three games. They Should beat St.Pauls, but the Bulldogs have beaten them two years in a Row. WHo? That's right ... ST Pauls, but they have lost some weaPons due to injuryand are struugglling this season at 2-6. Stallions should win this Friday. Red Springs and Whitezille are very talented ... Should be a probLem . Get this season over with and focus on nest season ... Whatever that maybe.

goToblueg, I adMire that because you bElieve in your tEam. Sorry if I camre against mean in post above .... The JIm Beam sTarted flowing a little EarLLy this afternoon, Good luck to you guy Friday night

Your prediction of a second round loss for Whiteville is the best thing that could happen for them. The playoffs are so watered down it all depends on the draw. How else could West Columbus have went as far as they did last year.

With as many as 4 undefeated probable 1AA teams in the West, Whiteville could be facing a 2nd round long road trip to a team with 0 or 1 loss. Fun to start hypothesizing, but still a lot of games to be played, ADMs to be announced and longitudinal coordinates to consider. Whatever Whiteville's perceived weaknesses are, they currently seem to be doing a good job of finding a way to win.

If, and I did say IF Whiteville would win out the rest of the season, would they not drop one of the non-conference losses and there for be a one loss team. That might help keep them at home for the 2nd.round

The only way you are sure to be home for round two is be one of the top four seeds. There maybe more coin flipping than normal.
