Last year EVERYBODY predicted a shoot out, and this year lots of you are predicting a high scoring game, wonder why both were held in the low 20's? Looking back at the scores from earlier this year when NE won and the predictions of some of you it appears Whiteville is in the same class as Bertie and Hertford County....................

I would love to see Kendric Burney take over. He is currently coaching at Wilson Prep. He was on the staff last year, an imo was the only one jumping up and down and showing intensity on the sidelines. He might be in over his head for the first year or so. But I promise there are kids transferring or not even playing at SWO who would play for Burney. SWO is built by three tough, hard neighborhoods. Imo Phil was a players coach, do whatever it took for the kid to play on Friday nights. Dempsey shows up and kicking kids off the team for simple reasons. Stars at SWO, had kids, took them to neighboring schools to play. To WRH and JHS. Never ever seen this before, and would have never seen this with Phil. Dlee and stallion4life were huge SWO supporters who did a lot for kids when Phil was coaching. RIP dlee but he would tell you the same thing I've said above and more. SWO was one of the most feared and respected team in the state. Hopefully we can get back that level

Northeastern is athletic as they come at the 2a level and has elite speed on offense for such a small program. I mean even the qb is fast and he is always a threat to run. All that being said doesn't guarantee a win by no means. This Wolfpack team is really good and very well coached.
Those Whiteville fans travel well for sure and our stadium will be packed like never before. I believe we will shatter the attendance record this Friday night. This is going to be one helluva atmosphere Friday and I cant wait. I'll be arriving at 5:30 so I can get my spot under the press box. This is gonna be the biggest game I've ever been apart of here in Elizabeth City
Whiteville will win by 2-3 tds. Northeastern is about the 4th best team JK played all season. Just the truth………..

Idk I think Monroe might be legit this year they held Shelby to 23, the lowest they scored all year when facing a 2A team. Then they scored 41 on them being the second most Shelby allowed all season and the first most allowed by a 2A team. And Monroe has only let up 111 points in 13 games which is the craziest stat I’ve seen. That’s about a td and a 2 pt conversion a game! I’m not sure exactly how good Monroe is considering im going off almost just stats and a few instagram highlights, but you don’t only allow 111 while scoring 667 if you’re not good. Thats abt 8 pts a game allowed on avg and 51 pts scored a game on avg😮💨😮💨
I watched their Shelby game. They are good indeed. Got to be to still be in it. Funny what a week can do. Last week at this time was how great JK was and NE hadn’t played anyone. Now NE is still going and you guys are praying they lose instead of supporting the East! It’s comical. I got news for you. Monroe beating NE ain’t going to help you sleep any better.
Whiteville has scored 629 and given up 185 this year, not bad.
