If thomasville wouldn't have been down these last several years, they would have been even higher on this list...it's an impressive list either way with teams that have tremendous tradition, good job rambbq

rambbq, here is something I'm sure many followers would be interested in knowing. Tell us who has the longest(current/active) consecutive streak for playoff appearances. Thanks in advance!!!!

Well if we didn't go through that dry spell 2008-2011 could be Alot higher but oh well it happens just glad to be on the list with so many other great programs

We hear at tville know the feeling darkhorse#34,good to see Clinton back in the mix doing their thing again.

Bartlett-Yancey is 75-296 since 1980.....obviously S. Davidson hasn't been around as long since B-Y has played almost 80 games more in that time frame......pretty sure there's none if any playoff games between the 2.....

macd....appreciate the kudos but your request must be taken up by somebody else....it's pretty time consuming to look up all this stuff.....I'm sure the usual suspects are in there tho...probably close to the same list as most wins since 1980......I think NCHSAA only keeps up with playoff appearances since 1972....so there is that source under their records link.........................

Rambbq, south Davidson use to be called the Denton red raiders until they changed their name back then,so I'm guessing that's why they only went back that far

would love to see an all-time wins list...I have Mt Airy's info if needed...all the way back to the 1920's

Thomasville is at 631 wins all time thru this year,Shelby is the all time leader in victories at around 700,I believe

If the question was instead; "What team has the most wins since 1937, who's school was built with granite, has a cougar as the mascot and it's colors are cardinal, white and black, we'd be #1 on the list. :)

Ram BBQ … you're retired … wish you would take over Reidsvillefootball.com website!

Thomasville has had some great teams over the years with Allen Brown. A couple of names I remember from many years ago are Tim Sanders and Vincent Steele.

Bears are right around 680 wins...will check info and give correct number

You could almost put South Columbus on this list. We've only been open since 92 and had 217 wins coming into this season. That averages out to almost 9.5 wins per year, so if we had the extra years and averaged the same amount of wins, that would put us at 340.

Really surprised Robbinsville isn't on that list. They have to be close to 300

Would love to see Tabor City High School/ South Columbus record from the 80s until now

Core 31...this list is just since 1980 so of course the teams on the list would have far more than what's listed.....South Columbus has only been around since 1992...so that are at a disavantage as far as this list goes.....Add Tabor City to the mix and of course both schools records would be among the top teams in state...........

Thinks for the info Schs 96 I forgot most of Robbinsville's titles were Pre- 1980.

You're welcome Polk. Take a look at this site, http://www.gobiggreen.net/
Just scroll down close to the bottom and you'll see all the conferences listed. If you click on the conference he has all the teams in that conference listed.
It has all the the records for every team in North Carolina since 1980. He has everyone's schedule this year and posts the results each week and keeps the conference standings for every conference in the state. The years he kept up with their results are in the right corner. He has the schedule and results for every NC team back to 2000. He has them for SC back to 2010. It's a great site if you love high school football in the carolinas. I certainly appreciate all the time and effort he has spent keeping this site up.

Andrews would be comfortably on the list if we didn't have to forfeit two seasons of wins because of slack administration oversight. Still makes me mad thinking about it!

TW Andrews still has 291 wins despite giving back nearly 25 victories due to forfeit for attendance and 8 quarter rule documentation issues during that time span since 1980

Rambbq...almost all of Maiden's wins since then (and prior) have been under one coach. Have any of the other schools on that list experienced the majority of their wins under one coach?

Good question about the one coach for 30 plus yrs....I would imagine only a couple...majority of Reidsville's have been with Jimmy Teague ( since 1992) except for a 2 yr. hiatus................

I'm not doubting that Richmond Co. has more wins than Shelby since 1980, (8) but I find it hard to believe that Shelby has 29 more losses.
