Starmount @ MA Round 2 2024

You know if Deana said it it must be true. Perhaps Mt Airy should just concede the game this Friday night because if Starmount does not win, weeeelll, I hope there is a good ambulance at the game because someone might need to be taken to the hospital.
Wonder if she will want to go to Northern Surry or Chatham Hospital in Elkin?

I think Starmount should just concede the game. I mean they had - 1 yards last game and they really really focused on running the ball. I just don't think they can improve on that number. With an average height/weight on the line of 6'3" 270lbs and about 5 different kids running the ball I'm not sure if that will ever be sufficient in 1a especially against the mighty Bears

Ms. Moderator, at the start of this season YOU allowed Mount Airy, its several fans, and ME especially to be called every nasty thing in the book. You did nothing but allow and encouraged it.

I mean you might be right there but I think your biggest problem is that was a young bears team. A team that's gotten more aggressive and physical as the season has gone along. I bet the mountain Island charter game was probably not a team they match up well against. But I think they probably do against the Rams but then I think the Rams match up pretty darn good against the bears. We might see less than 400 total yards in this game. It could be just a defensive battle. That would be fantastic.
I'm gonna tell you something. You're gonna get on the wrong side of a lot of people by taking these foolish shots at a wonderful woman. Some people that aren't gonna be as graceful with you as Deana. Go ahead and mark that down

I think he may have meant her being a huge supporter of Starmount she may have a stroke or heart attack if they lost. Maybe Mods should remain neutral on the boards and support your team all they want to at the game. It is not fair to any of the team that plays Starmount to see the board's Staff/MOD pulling against them because her not staying natural is pulling against their opponents. I hope we don't see the Refs Friday night favoring Starmount because of her and a Refs status on here ! I look at it as no different than a teacher favoring one student above all the others and making it clear.

I continually pray. I have truly pray for your health. I have lifted up many prays for people and situations on this board. One more thing I do pray for is sportsmanship. Respect for the game, players, opponents, and officials. I think that has been lost in this new age of sports and athletes. The NCHSAA claims to be about sportsmanship, but refuse to act when there is blatant unsportsmanlike activity happening.

I have stayed away from Mt Airy post since you and buzz said I hate MA. I promise you I have the utmost integrity when it comes to officiating. No referee gives a damn about who wins. What we usually hope for is the same things you want, for us to work a game to the best of our abilities. Buzz should certainly know this as he was an official and now a HS coach. I think he will agree with my statement. Also, I did not officiate a single HS football game this year and only have done 2 games each of previous 2 years.
As I said, I could care less about Mt. Airy. I have 2 sons that coach sports at the HS level. One is at a very large 4A school coaching baseball and the other is at a 3A school coaching football, both head coaches. Attending my son’s football games were my first priorities this fall. It was an absolute joy to stand on the sideline and watch his games. Ask buzz if he has favorites in his classroom, I am betting he does.

Let get this straight no one from mount airy wants any harm to Deana. But here it is we are tired of hearing all the preseason crap spewed by starmount fans and then all the excuses when we came to Boonville and played the worst game of season held those 4 other backs to -1 yards riushing and still won. Now you got what you wanted to come to mount airy healthy and get a piece of an angry granite bear. Bring it, shut us up and knock us off. And NCBBFB if you ever want a piece of someone we right outside the front gate every Friday night so come on and we can talk. Not hard to find. Don’t make threats trust me.
All i said was you were biased against MA fans not that you hated MA. I even said you may be this way without realizing it. I have been called a POS among other things this season and as recent as a few days ago and it was allowed. Its ok as Preps is a discussion board with a lot of different opinions in wich in this society if we dont agree then we have to dis like each other.....its sad. If I am wrong sportsnut I apoligize.

Yes, but we pull for our team and we are not Staff/Mods pulling for our team. As I said, she as Staff should not be pulling against other teams.
Uh oh we got ourselves big bad chuck norris over here.

Back to the game I think will be a classic. Either team can win could come down to turnovers. Both teams loaded with talent. Rams are legit! MA at home will be a hard out. Hope the home crowd is better.than Friday was. Should be standing room only.
The weather is not looking bad so far, May be a little windy like last night but this can change by Friday.

Buzz, I may disagree with you at times and I do think you take things a little too far sometimes but you do keep things lively on here lol. I think your analysis on the game is spot on. Yes should be standing room only.
