WS Prep 12-2 and 5-0
Mt Airy 14-2 and 5-1
Atkins 11-3 and 4-1
Bishop 9-6 and 2-3
East Surry 6-9 and 1-4
North Stokes 3-12 and 1-4
Walkertown 1-12 and 0-5

Prep has to be a one of the favorites to win the state. Mt Airy, Atkins and Bishop are all solid teams and should each win atleast a first round play-off game. East Surry is showing signs of improvement . Maybe the other two will make improvements next year

WS Prep 10-4 and 5-0
Mt Airy 10-5 and 4-2
Biahop 12-4 and 3-2
East Surry 11-5 and 3-2
North Stokes 7-8 and 2-3
Atkins 1-15 and 1-4
Walkertown 3-11 and 0-5

Prep is looking good. Mt Airy is really getting better through out the year. Bishop and East Surry are very solid teams who can shoot the ball well with Coaches who can win a big game. North Stokes is making noise as a team nobody wants to play. The last two are not very good

Best 1A girls basketball conference around. You all will beat up on each other. As for boys, another solid group of teams that will be a handful for other teams.

Prep is THE State Championship favorite in 1A on the girls side. No disrespect to HD or whatever comes out of the East, but unless someone gets incredibly lucky, that team, as currently constituted, will not be beaten.


The more interesting subplot is going to be who finally ends Bishop's run this year. There will be no shortage of teams lining up to collect that scalp once February rolls around.
