Muscles was tired from all that running congrats south point looks like you guys got hot at the right time keep it going
Congrats to Seadog, Coondog (you called it Slick), Stick, Sasha, 73, RM99, and the rest of the faithful Red Raiders. South Point boys don't ever quit. Concord is no easy team to beat but the kids brought more heart.

That young defensive front is playing so much better. Made it tough for Rocky to get going tonight. Kudos also to the young offensive line. Concords defensive front looked big and athletic, but SP moved them all night. Tough running by Etherton, Brooks, and Muse. Concord put 11 men withing a few yards of the LOS and Brooks did a great job of getting the ball to the LB level and then out running the Concord D.
SP played a great great game tonight. All cylinders firing on offense and defense. This was the best game they have played (maybe Shelby was equal). They made Concord look like an average team tonight. The game was not even as close as the final score. Maybe that weak Big South Conference is not as bad as everybody thought. Two teams in the third round. If Crest is going to the state championship game, it will be through the Big South.
I think they did that last year to disrupt our O line and I wondered if they would do it again in this game.

We were there, Loud and Proud. Question was where were the Concord fans. Home side stands were less than half full.
The SP crowd was amazing tonight. Nearly as many here as for the home playoff game last week which was really down from normal. At kickoff, SP had as many fans as Concord. By the fourth quarter we easily outnumbered them. SP is a real road warrior team this year, playing better on the road than at home. All four losses this year were at home while they are undefeated on the road. Apparently the SP crowd is also road warriors too.

Good to see Brooks give credit to the offensive line. SP gave up some yards but buckled down as the field shortened. To travel to Concord and come away with the win is a testament to the heart and toughness of the type of kids in Belmont. Hard to put a stat on heart and desire. Stay focused and the revenge game could happen.

like I been saying all year. That first game we were young. It will be different this time I promise you that.
