Ok fellas closer to conference play and looking interesting as we go. My pre conf predictions aren’t going too close to what I predicted or anyone else for that matter.
What’s shaping up now is that WL is threating, Bandys better than some musta thought, Maiden still good IMO but not CO sweet 16 calibure, EL and Lincolnton can still battle it out but looking like East has the favor in that one. Newton can still play but you can tell a huge difference in performance since some people left, should take 3rd or 4th and 1st round loss (maybe) n then basketball and of course you can’t go counting North Lincoln out. Faced a powerhouse 1A team- prob shoulda won. Powerhouse 3A team- AC is just good hands down but what makes them questionable is the low point win against Foard. A wins a win and they’ll take it but can they do that against the rest of the South Fork? So let’s hear it
Newton and Hibriten- won’t be the edge of your seat possible upset like last year. Think Hickory messed em up? In comes Witherspoon and crew- Hibriten 58 Newton 7.
Bessemer city and NL- close loss last year by the Knights, like with Foard I expect a bounce back and much needed win- NL 35 BC 21.
WL and EBurke- if EB gets their main players back to health it could be an ok game for a quarter or 2. Can’t possibly see how West messed this one up last year but ain’t happening this year. Years and years past this game woulda been a joke. The Cavs are no were near the hardnose blue collar family boys they were from 09’ and back. WL easily 42 EB 14(if lucky)
EL and EG- go fishing or go to another game or something. Keep starters out no need to injuries. Practice alittle for playoffs. EL 49 EG 0
