Well R’ville couldn’t put it together after a 3 game week and slow start doomed them. However the Refs stole the show with inconsistencies in calls. Do they enjoy being this terrible? Can we as a conference sit down and evaluate their performances? Our kids are getting frustrated. Hooper played hard and led the comeback. Only for Refs to bail out HD with 4 free throws in a row. Can our kids play our style of ball or do we need to just play duck duck goose because that seems to be something more entertaining.

It is not just in the SMC. Inconsistency is the major issue everywhere. You run over a player on one end and no call. You get within two feet of one on the other and the whistle blows. Players and coaches an adjust each game if only they keep calls consistent .
quality of officiating is down everywhere; too inconsistent....NCHSAA is pushing hard to get people into the profession b/c there’s a lack of officials in ALL sports....too many people with personal agendas now calling games....they should never be in the spotlight but in most cases are becoming the topic of conversation
