Yes they did. Had was is past tense. They also had swain picked to win conference and go undefeated. Now they may not win a single game

Anyway, the comment has nothing to do with Hayesville, it is on the state of Swain football as a whole. Anyone with eyes can see that over the past few years the team has been held back tremendously by coaching and have lost many games they should’ve won as a direct result and perhaps even a title. That said yes of course congrats to Hayesville, any win is a good win and I hope y’all go far, I always root for our own when they aren’t lined up against us.
As others have mentioned there are some real good linemen, #6 can tote the rock and has some flash. The D plays well as a whole and it’s tough to tell who can do what on the offense apart from #6 because it is incredibly dysfunctional at the moment.

Well when you get beat by hayesville and Andrews and practically put up 0 points . That means you are not very good up front. More than so it means you aren’t very good anywhere on the field

Its has a lot to do with coaching as the talent their. A bad coache will run a team into the ground.
There’s no “practically” here, they didn’t. If that was due to talent there would be more than 2 points scored for each opponent.
I agree with you that the talent on our team is better than what is showing up on Friday nights. We should not have lost to Andrews or Hayesville, no disrespect intended to either school. It is hard to watch all the miscues and missed opportunities directly influenced by coaching or lack thereof.
Yes same QB as last year. The Mount Airy game is easily his career best game.
As far as the rest I just say turn on the tape from the Robbinsville game last week and the Swain game this week and form your own conclusion.
