If we run the table, and that's a big "If", I'm meeting you in the parking lot over, "this is no where near one of our better teams or better defenses".
no East Duplin has not won a state title, as was previously posted. but that doesnt mean we havent had some great, state championship caliber teams. we always came up just short somehow. and yes many times those losses came against Clinton. but if my team is to lose to somebody, i would rather it be to a team like Clinton, who has very respectable posters for the most part, than to a team like shelby, who seems to have a bad epidemic of "jerkism" among a large part of their fanbase.
In some cases, some mistake confidence for "jerkism", or those who speak their mind as "jerkism". We're all entitled to our opinions, it's just some have different approaches in doing so.
BTW your respectable posters like Clinton... Back in 2004 when SWO beat us, I recall one Clinton poster saying we would be the 5th best team in their conference, they can sling the mud as good as any of us.... So back off the holier than thou attitude, and calm down.. We are all still playing football this late.. I know that's very new to you East Duplin posters, but just relax and enjoy the ride...Albeit a very short one....in ED's case...

Considering the first team defense has only played a half in 75% of our games it should be noted today most points have been scored on us in the fourth quarter. We have only had 6 points scored on us in the first quarter all year. With that in mind, the first team defense is averaging giving up 3 (yes THREE) points per game......wow.
who is "our", are you a Shelby fan? at any rate, most points are almost always scored on a good team while theyre playing a bad team, in the second half, particularly the fourth qtr. thats when the subs are usually in. thats nothing new.

well i know nothing about shelby other than the fact that they have a football team. i always thought it was just the name of a model of ford mustang. i have never been to shelby and never plan to.
