B and G, LA is correct, but left out gray shirt, red shirt and sixth year. You know how Shelby rolls.
Nothing to be concerned about. Heard that the girls basketball team needed a head coach, and the position was filled recently, and there was disappointment that the mom didn’t get the position. I didn’t like the response, but understood the disappointment. She was a standout in high school, played college ball, has coaching experience, including as an assistant last season, and the girls love her. She’d make a great coach, no doubt. I hope she gets her opportunity one day, but In the meantime, just gotta stay humble, and keep your head up.

I asked the question because the kid looked special. Anyone from Shelby asking if Mallard Creek needs a QB already knows the answer if they were around the Shelby program last Friday or Saturday.

Bess's Mom and I were on the executive league board for Cleveland County Youth Football for several years together... LA said it best, she is all about the kids and is passionate about sports, youth sports and her kids...She was a joy to work with all those years
Her kid in middle school, is going to be an absolute beast.. My final year at youth, we were conducting weigh ins, he stood in front of me and was at eye level in 6th grade.. He was about 6'3 and I think weighed in at 248... Very athletic kid at that size too.... His team ended my coaching career and after the game, I gave him a hug, and told him it was a joy watching him play since he was in like 1st grade and best of luck and Ill always cheer for him and the kids.. He simply said, "Love ya coach" Humble kid, great student too... says a lot about his mom with him and Isaiah, just as humble and polite as they come...Great kids..

Lost 1st game fri..25-19.
But we were without best rec over weekend due to hip injury. Daley would been big help.
Also killed Shelby cause a bunch that plays 7 on 7 also play BB. And were in a tournament night before till 12 at night....again no excuse but wish things had been alittle different.

Its 7 on 7 and Shelby looked and played fine. Athletically they looked good. There were plenty of teams with kids out. I will say just based on shorts and shirts that the younger Hollifield is probably gonna play with his hand in the dirt at the next level dont ya think?

Yeah, he looks to be carrying 240 on his frame. The game has changed. Really not possible to be a in the box Mike anymore. You have to be able to turn and run. He is a big physical kid who I think is a SDE at the next level.
